memorial added
Dear Rita,
Thank you so much for adding my mother in law's memorial picture. She was a great lady. She is buried a long way from us and we had not seen her gravestone at the time of her burial. It is very meaningful for our family. I sure appreciate your efforts. God bless you.

David Michael Wickley
Hi Rita, Thank you for transferring the Memorial Listing for David from you to us. And thank you for the beautiful gravestone photo you posted. We've added his photo and added a note to indicate that his ashes were interred in two separate cemeteries (that's why there are two Memorial Listings for him). Your efforts are greatly appreciated.

Anna Miller
Can you give me any more info on Anna? All her pieces fit into my Anna, but I want to make sure. Middle name? Joseph's middle name? How she came to America? Parents names? Anything would help me

Thank you

Martha Jane (Schliesser) Hicks
Mrs. Anna Maria March (1841-1872) & Daughter Anna (1872-1872)
Hi Rita,

I am writing to ask for information and to share information with you about Anna Maria "Stetter" March (1841-1872) and her daughter, Anna Maria March (1872-1872) buried at Independence Cemetery. Their memorial numbers are #87682294 and #87682265.

I do already have had the death years of 1872 for both of them, and I have the German church record for Anna Maria's birth... born Jan. 9, 1841; however, I did not have the full death dates for them, nor the full date of the daughter's birth. Thank you for posting memorials for them.

You may be interested to know that the marriage record of Anna Maria & Frederick W. March is mistaken regarding her maiden name being Stetter. Anna's maiden name was Schliesser. (Stetter happens to be her mother's maiden name.) Anna's nephew, Adolf (1876-1965) wrote extensively about the Schliesser family. His mother, Wilhelmine, is listed with Anna and Frederick March in the 1870 census. Wilhelmine is in their household as a 10-year-old girl whose mother had died. Anna (Schliesser) March's brother met Wilhelmine during a visit and later married her. I can share more about Anna being part of the Schliesser family if you are interested.

I would greatly appreciate knowing your source for the full death date of Mrs. Anna March, and the full birth & death dates of her daughter Anna. Would you mind letting me know the source(s) for this info?

Thank you very much.

Military burials in Riverside
I noticed that you have done many of the memorials at Riverside cemetery in Defiance. Could you tell me how I could I find the memorials from the military part of the cemetery that's towards the front? Any ideas?? My uncle Donald Klinshirn is buried up there. Also are there any unmarked graves in this cemetery?

Suzanne Elliott Linebrink
Garber family/Jenny?
Hi Rita, I am doing some research on the Garber family. Lena Garber was my husband's grandmother. Do you have any information about Jenny Garber, a sister of Lena and Fannie Garber? I have seen your name many times while researching the Linebrink family but did not know the connection to the Garber family until this week. You have done some wonderful research and I surely appreciate it. Please feel free to contact me through e-mail or through findagrave. Suzanne (Sue) Linebrink

Didn't it have 1914 as date of birth? Thank you for removing it. If it was her, I don't want the stones on. I find it depressing.

RE: Binkley
Sorry, the date came from and the rootsweb site from the Binkley research group. Here is what they have on the Clermont Co. Binkleys; William Binkley 1821-1894 No middle name is given. Son of Christian Binkley and Hannah Caudle.
He married Hannah Meeks and after her death Married Rachel Glancy Willis on Mar 26 1866.

Rachel was born 8 Aug. 1833. Her First Husband, Jacob Willis, was killed in the Civil War. William and Rachel had 7 children ,including a Daniel 1871. I am seriously looking for the burial of William Binkley.Familysearch has a death record that I believe to be him ,that gives his date of death as Feb 6 1894 in Warren Co. But no burial location. I am wrong about the birthdate of Daniel, since his headstone would surely have the correct birthdate.
