Daisy Blodgett #125558951
Hi Vernon. Thanks for your note about Daisy. I'm not sure I understand the suggestion correctly, but it sounds like you believe that Daisy and Harry are both children of Charles and Emma Blodgett. However, that's not the case in this situation.

Charles and Emma Blodgett are the parents of Harry Blodgett. However, Daisy is Harry's wife, not his sister. Daisy's parents were Charles and Lois McFarland, as listed on transcripts of Daisy and Harry's marriage record, and on her Vermont State death certificate. It's a bit confusing because all four share the same headstone (thank you for the photo!)

The photo you posted on the memorial for Rev Frederic Parry "F P" Hodges,,
doesn't appear to go with this memorial.
Would you remove it, please?

RE: Almond Murray's photo
I have not really discovered much more since I messaged Betty on Facebook last August regarding Louis St. Onge's Civil War service. I still am fairly active with my research and later this summer I plan on taking a genealogical road trip through Canada, though I do not have any Murray-related stops planned.

You sent me a copy of that photo ages ago - we are first cousins twice removed.

Stone photo request
I am sorry that I never got notification that you uploaded photos for my request. I appreciate you taking the time to look for my request, I'm just sad to see that there was no stone. Thank you for providing that information.

Not really sure who Obie is. If I don't already have a memorial for him, you probably should put one up.

RE: Gen Joseph Martin
Sisters if General Joseph Martin are Sarah, Susannah, Mary, Martha, Nancy and Olive. I have that Martha married a Waller. But she could have married someone else at a later date. Know very little about his sisters or brothers. Have not done much research on them. I descend out of the General's second marriage to Elizabeth Ward so know more about them than most of his other family members.

May I upload the monument listing children of Joshua and Sarah Harvey to my Ancestry tree and to my Family Tree Maker file? With a credit to you.

I see I didn't answer your question about Ellison Ridge, sorry. It is in Lincoln County. I put census and other records with more info on the memorial.

Vernon, I don't remember where I got the obit, but most of the ones I get are from the Pulaski Co. Historical Society in Somerset. Langdon Street Baptist Church is located in Somerset. The obit most likely came from a Somerset newspaper.

(He had lived here 24 years, was a retired Southern Railway worker, Mason and a member of Langdon Street Baptist Church.)

I'll add more info to his memorial, I didn't know to add records in 2009,I had been a member only a few months.

Hi Vernon, thank you for the note about his burial. I cannot figure out why this gentleman has the same birth and death years as my Great Uncle, but he was not married to a woman named Amy, at least not so far as I have records of. I saw the memorial here for him and tried to contact the member who left it to see if he would transfer over to me. The picture is not very good quality at all of his marker. Was hoping that if I put up another memorial,a recent, better quality photo would emerge. This family tree stuff is extremely difficult at times!

I saw William and Dicey. I added their pictures. I knew there were more names of ones buried there but I hadn't had the chance to get around to adding them today. I'll check and see what you had with what I had. Thanks!
