Hi! Can you tell me if Andrew and Katherine Eck (memorial #123993093) are buried together? I'm looking for the parents of Sister M. Geralda Eck, SSND (born Magdalena). Thanks! Annie

I have a question about Find A Grave Memorial# 39460792 - Friedericke Prehn. The bio says that she had 3 children die young. Do you know if the children were boys or girls? 1 was lost at sea. Was that a boy or a girl? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am one of her descendants. Thank you. - TG.

I found the family plot that you have a photo request for. I took the photos. I need 2 more memorials made. Maybe you can update yours to I. Seeger and make another one for L. Seeger. I'll work on the photos for you.

We found Her on St. Peter's in Little Chicago/ Hamburg today while we were putting flowers on my grandparents' grave. Dates fit except on the Stone it says geb. 20 Jun 1820 not 1829. But I think this was her, so I added her.

|Tea||Wausau area grave|
I've been looking for a grave for Minnie Bird (maiden was Behnke). Minnie could be short for something and Bird could also be spelled Byrd. There may not even be a marker, no one in the family is sure. All they can really tell me is when they went to visit grandpa's grave at Restlawn, they would go "just up the road" and visit the (different) cemetery where grandma was. I don't know why they weren't buried together or if she was buried with her family. I have no further info, other than she was born (est.) 1888 and died between 1922 and 1930. I believe she actually died in 1922-1923, though. If you have run across her in your grave research, I'd be really grateful if you could even just tell me the name of the cemetery. Thank you!

|Dorie Q.||Howard Rose 1915-1989|
I tried to find a memorial for Howard Rose but didn't find one. The only mention of him is on the bottom of a stone for Robert L and Irene C Kruse. Under her name is says "Mrs Howard Rose." If you would like me to post this picture under his name I will do so. In the mean time, I'll post it under the Kruse name.

Hi, I just fulfilled your photo request for Laura Weinke. Didn't you also have a request for her husband Cyril? When I wrote your request down I had him listed too but now I see he isn't in the photo requests for Restlawn. I looked for a memorial but if there was one I didn't find it. Just wanted to know about that as his name is also on the stone. Have a great day!

Hi Laurie, I asked my uncle and as far as he knows we don't have any relatives in the Marathon area. There is another Burk family in Wausau and they even have a Lori Ann Burk which is my name also. Her father and my father used to get the wrong bills from the doctor. We both went to the same. Later she started going to the same doctor I had when I was an adult and they once got our medical records all messed up. If you want any names to help you find relatives, let me know. Have a great day!

I'll have to check with my uncle Roger to see if one of my grampa's brothers settled around there. I know one brother lived in the Merrill area and another in the Wausau area. Will have to check. If my dad were still around he would be able to tell me right away. He remembered everything, unlike me. lol

Hi Laurie, I fulfilled the requests. I think that the reason James Weinke only had one date on his stone is because he was born and died on the same day. My great nephews was like that. He was stillborn. He's in Restlawn too. Glad I could help with the photos. Love doing it.

Hi Laurie, I fulfilled the photo requests for Harold, Julius, Elsa and Viola Weinke. I didn't see a husband for Viola, so if she had one he wasn't on the stone with her. This was in Sec 1. I also found 3 other Weinke's and took pics of each one. They were Martha O Weinke (1984-1990), Otto A Weinke (1886-1938) and James H Weinke (Oct 13, 1946). I did not find memorials for them. Otto and Martha were next to each other but James was in the same section but farther away. Not sure if he was their baby or someone elses in the family. Let me know if you are going to make memorials for them. If so, I can put their pics on their memorials. Have a great day!

Hi, Sorry I didn't get Zunker's photos yet, too hot for me. I like it cool. Anyway, the message I sent earlier says that Restlawn Cemetery in Wausau they couldn't find him. I went to his memorial and looked at his obit and he was buried in Restlawn Cemetery in Wisc. Rapids. Just wanted to let you know that.

I went out to Restlawn Cemetery today looking for headstones for the photo requests I have. The office told me where Edwin Zunker was but they said that the name of the person on the headstone with him in sec. 6, lot 167 was Verna. They could not find an Elisa Zunker. Also they could not find Earles E Pruss. She even looked for a different spelling like Pruess or Pross. Could not find any name at all like that. I will be going out to Restlawn again soon so I will check and take a photo of Edwin Zunker's headstone, now that I know where it is located. Have a great day.

Thanks for the tranfer of Clara Brandt Schumacher. She was my first cousin 2X removed. Her granddaughter is my 3rd cousin and we just met about 2 years ago through ancestry and she and I have been putting together the Brandt Tree. I also live in Wausau, but Susan lives in Omro and I helped her out on finding info in Marathon County.
