Harry Ljncoln Beard
It was a pleasant surprise to find my great-uncle Harry on this site! Thank you for entering his information. The story of my grandfather receiving word of his death is not a proud one. A correction, please...Harry's parents were John F. and Emma Crabbin Beard. John, Emma, and baby brother John E. Beard are in Thornrose Cemetery,Staunton, Augusta Co. VA. My grandfather, Frank A. Beard, is in Norfolk, VA's Elmwood Cemetery. Again, thank you.

Thank you for the photograph of Lynn Holland's marker. It was exciting to see it as none of us live in the area.

Hi Paulette
I was just reviewing one of my memorials for Gottfried Rivinius and saw our note about no marker. Thank you for making the note.

My great aunt's daughter married a Salentine & she was a Haen.
Are you related to the Salentine's?

RE: Martha Hattie Hickey Roe
Paulette -
I don't know much about Martha "Mattie" Hickey Roe. I do not know about a gravestone or about her children. I will check it out some more today. I show that Martha and John had only one daughter and five sons: daughter Alpha, and sons James, Raymond, Roy, Ralph and Robert. Martha's sister, Virginia "Jenny," doesn't have a gravestone that I know of (and I've physically looked for it). About Ralph Roe, I show that he was born about 1906. May have to check him out some more too as that is an interesting story about an escape from Alcatraz. I will be looking into this family some more shortly. Wish I could be of help. If I should find more, I will let you know or maybe you have some more info? You can contact me at: Good to "meet" you! Marian

RE: Harder Cemetery
I think all of the memorials have been transferred. If I missed one please let me know. You are doing an excellent job with what you have already added to these memorials. Thanks so much. You will do a great job with all the information it sounds like you plan on adding.

RE: Harder Cemetery
I would gladly transfer the management of all of the memorials in the Harder Cemetery if you are interested. I would be thrilled to have someone with a personal interest manage these memorials. Just let me know, and they are yours.

RE: Harder Cemetery
Management of the requested memorials has been transferred. I have absolutely no connection to these people, other then my interest in Franklin County history, so I'm thrilled to see a family member want to take over the management of these memorials. Thank you

I have been finding so many photos from my family on the website -- thanks so much again for letting me know! I am actually related on the Pflugrath side of the family, and have been finding many other photos from that side of the family including the Thiel branch. I noticed you added headstone photos and photos to many of these memorials as well. Are you related to this family at all? :)Jessica

RE: Knecht
Hi Paulette--(sorry for the late reply, I make toys and with Christmas orders life has been busy lately!) Anyways, thanks so much for the info! I will go check it out. I didn't know there were photographs at the WA site, fun! And even better when they are of family! Thanks again, :)Jessica

Please remember that the "No Visible Stone" graphics are not allowed in the photo section If the grave is unmarked, that fact is to be stated in the bio text area. Only post photos of the actual grave and/or a portrait of the person being memorialized. Nothing else should be in the photo section.

Thank you,

Thanks so much for the obit of Judson J Merriman's first wife's obit. I searched all of Findagrave and did not find a memorial for her so I created one and placed her in Lind Cemetery,Adams county with Judson's father and mother, but can always change the cemetery if we find her exact location. I also looked for her in Ohio with no luck.
Any further tips you can find for me would be very welcome.
Thanks so much.

The memorials of many of my relatives in Ritzville Memorial Cemetery wouldn't be nearly as nice without the tombstone photos you took and uploaded there. I just wanted to tell you I appreciate it very much.
