I hadn't been to the Johns cemetery before so I loaded the coordinates into my GPS and headed out there. I arrived to a very overgrown lot with no sign of it being a cemetery. I was lucky and only waited a few minutes before a local walking his dog confirmed I was in the right place. He said he grown up there and there used to be headstones but he wasn't sure anymore. I bushwhacked through the woods and brush but was unable to find any evidence of burials or headstone.

|Marilyn Posthumus Clark||Amelia Miller/Bruno Kretschmer|
I have a little more info for you for these two. I'm a graver and have photo'd all of Winlock WA cemetery. Still trying to decipher some unreadable stones. Today I figured out that "Brum Kretchner" 14101792 is actually Bruno Kretchiner (inscription) AKA "Bruns Kretchnur" (WA Digital Archives death records). According to the WA Death records, his father is Herman Kretchnur, and he died at age 77 on 9 Mar 1948 in Winlock. I have edits going to the memorial creator about these items, and I'll post the grave photo today.
I found him on the 1930 US census, and see he's "Bruno Kretschmer" there. Also found your family tree on Ancestry and see him there as well. So I thought you might like the add'l information.
I also found an obit for his sister Amelia Miller. I will send it as an edit request to her memorial manager.

|Debbie and Eddie||Your email address sent a spam|
You helped us about 4 years ago by taking a picture of our uncle's grave. We corresponded by email for a short conversation after that on your "sewsoslow" aol account. Thank you again for taking that picture at Shelton Memorial.
But I wanted to let you know that I received a hacked email from that address this last week. I don't know if you still use that address. It is still listed here, and may be where the hacker/spoofer got it. Since I can bet that you weren't "robbed in the Philippines," and would not be coming to me "for a loan of $2950, to get your passport returned," I wanted to make sure you were aware that account had been compromised.
But, either way, I turned it into a good thing and stopped by to say thank you again for that photo. I can't begin to say how important it was for us to receive.

This person is in a different cemetery here in Orrville. I will try and find it. I did not claim it - as I don't know if I can get to that one in the next 14 days.

You are so very welcome. Vernon and Martin were quite easy to find, but Baby Anita was more of a challenge. After initially not finding her close to Babyland, I searched again today and was very pleased to find her in fairly close proxcimity to her parents. I'm just pleased that I was able to
take the photos for you.

Okies...hope you can find him. And understand about back problems and feet problems. Same for me and yes...cemetery grounds are very uneven. Take care of yourself.

|klassikat||RE: Sarah E Mitchell Froman|
Hi, The person next to her is Lars Flem. When I document a section or look for a marker for a request, I always look around for similar names to try to link to others if possible. If you look at her site and read the information under the bio section, I put a possible death date for Marion/Marian Froman. He was 80 at time of death and the WA State Digital Archives state his father's name was Greenberry Froman. Is that the Marion you are looking for do you think? Now there is a lot of unmarked space in between Sarah to the left so Marion may be buried there without a marker. Or he may be buried somewhere else in the cemetery. Are you able to call and find out or are you out of the area? I can call and see if he is buried somewhere in that cemetery if it would be a long distant call for you.
I understand health issues too. I so want to transcribe many graves but my back is so weak that it is hard to do. But I do a little at a time. Take care of yourself and happy to help with any others that you find buried in the Tacoma Cemetery. It is my favorite one and the closest one to me. Any questions, let me know. Andi

Kathryn, it was my pleasure to fulfill your request. Sorry it took so long to complete, it has not stopped raining for a while. They are laid to rest in a lovely part of the cemetery, under the protection of big old pines and cedars filled with singing birds. I sent regards to them all on your behalf!

Hello, I did hear back from those who created Lorraine's memorial and it appears they are using cemetery records of those who have bought plots. They indicate that both Kenneth and Lorraine are still among us and will be deleting those memorials for now! God Bless them and their families!
Added by kdxdot on Jan 25, 2013 8:44 AM
You are welcome. I have left a message for those who created the two names without death date and asked why they would post them without death dates. Especially if they are still among us. I went into Ancestry.com to check there for a death date but nothing. As of 2002 they lived down the road from me on Stone Road. Do not know if you are a member there, but that record is on the database where information comes from telephone books!
Anyway, there is Kenneth's parents buried there, Arnold and Catherine, Kenneth will be lying beside his mother when he passes, unless, they are buried somewhere else that we don't know about. I'll let you know later when I hear back from the creators of those two memorials!
And no problem on the work I did. I am still working on it because the cemetery themselves would like to know if the two have been buried somewhere else.
HUGS FROM OREGON!
