MT OLIVET CEMETERY ST JOSEPH MISSOURI
I searched for your loved one yesterday. This cemetery is enormous. There are about 21,000 burials here. If you look at the photos for this cemetery, there is a map and you will see names of different sections. Each section has upward of 400 plots in it. If you could get the name of the section it would help. I don't have a map of plots and when I go there the office is hardly ever open so I can't access the map inside the office. I will be going back now and then and if you call the office at 816-279-5005 and get a section name and post it on the memorial page, someone should have a better chance of finding the marker. Directions or a location within the section could help as well. The office personnel don't want a person like me asking for the locations of a whole bunch of people....they just don't have time for it all at once.
I hope this will help you find your loved one.

I had been looking for Simmons, Mary and Susan Baldwin at Wesley Chapel for you only to stumble across them at Austin (Whitson) Cemetery. I have created memorial pages for them at Austin Cemetery complete with the monument photos and will transfer them to you if you want me to.

I was just taking a break and was checking what names were listed in this area. Not part of the project I'm working on. At least not yet! I think the Old Auburn cemetery will keep me busy for years! If I find myself in Grass Valley I may photograph and post them to Find A Grave.

Thx for claiming my 2 McNeese requests in Cook-Walden. I verified that another McNeese is also in the cemetery--Ellen McNeese Smith and husband William Russell Smith. After some digging found info on both to connect them to each other and family and have added requests for them as well.

Thank you so much for taking this picture and posting it for me. Jerry was a sweet young man who was disabled. During the last years of his life he was finally able to work and receive payment for that work. It was a great success. Thanks again, Jan
