Sarah Paine Long Kennett
Don't you think it odd that Sarah Paine Long has two stones - funny

one under Sarah Paine Long, wife of William Long
the other under Sarah Paine Kennett, wife of Charles Kennett. One says died in 1878, the other 1879 : - )

David Potter Family
Do you have any information or contacts you would be willing to share with me on the David Potter family?

My great grandmother is Jane Potter Riely and I would be interested in any information on her family.

Please call 650-755-0580 and get the grave location and add to the memorial so that we can get you some photos.

Or, contact the cemetery office via email in order to obtain the grave location.

Please post to the memorial or Send a Correction to the memorial owner
so that it can be added.
Once you have done this then it will be an easy matter for us to go out and get your request fulfilled.

Thank you for your efforts looking for grave markers for these two young girls. I have updated my genealogy records to reflect your findings .. no grave marker has been found after a search of the whole cemetery.

Thanks for your efforts on behalf of these distant relatives. Your efforts are most appreciated.

Potter's at Evergreen
Susan: it is done, I added a photo that I had of the Columbarium first. The folks in the office are very helpful about providing info. to family members as long as you are patient. Ask for either Beth or Bernadette....I don't take photos in the winter, but if you have any more relatives that you would like to add and put in requests for I can certainly do them in the spring/ wishes...DC

RE: the Himrods
Hi Susan, there is a big stone that just has Dumas on it in this same area. There is no other names on it, I'm not sure if this is the stone for Catherine & John Dumas. I wasn't sure so I did not post it to their memorials. There is a gravestone for a Carl J Dumas 1910-1997 & Marie F. Dumas 1912-1987 they are together on one stone. There is another one for a little girl Our Baby Judy Marie Dumus June 28, 1948- Apr. 5, 1950. Her stone is right in back of the infant son Romanosky. I looked all over this area for Catherine & John Dumas stone but didn't see anything with their name on it, except that big one with Dumas on it. Carla :)

RE: The Himrods in Greenwood Cemetery
You are welcome Susan! The gravestones were still wet that morning I took the photos. We had a big storm the night before. When I go back to the cemetery I'll take another photo of them amd I think they will look better. It really make a big different the way the light is hitting the stone at that time of day. Carla

Yes, the marker did look fairly pink, but the day was gray, wet and rainy. The color often depends on the lighting conditions. As I said, there was a great deal of mud. Even with wiping, it was still fairly caked with mud which obscured the real beauty of the stone. Karen

Photos were added for Harriet, too. Sadly conditions were very muddy. We could try again later after winter is over. Karen

Yes, she is, but someone else has claimed that photo request.

If they do not deliver and their claim expires, I will post my photo for you.

I found Henry in Yuma, Ariz. as an Indian Agent in 1880, single, then in 1892 in Lerdo, Kern, Ca. and in 1900 in Kern City, Ca., single, and in 1910 in Kern, 63 yrs. single. Will you let me know if you find a death date? He doesn't show up on 1920 census that I could find.
I would agree...would have thought Harriet would be in GreenWood as well.

Hi Susan,
Right after I sent last message, I found a census for "Harry" R. Mallory. His correct name is Henry Roland Mallory.

RE: John Carrington Mallory
Oh good, that's what I have for Winifred's date of death. They had 9 children. Harriet was b. before 1859 and d. bef. 1870 around age 11. (If you find a difference and actual dates, please let me know.) Their other children are: Maria, James, Eliza, John, Harry, Winifred, (Harriet), H. Maude and Grace. I have dates for most of them but not a d. date for Henry.
