Re Herman Breitfield
I think the only way to edit this is to remove Gustav Breitfield as the father of Herman, but it has to be done on Herman's memorial site, since it was never possible to add children to a Find A Grave memorial.

So, the ball's back in your park, I'm afraid. :-) Do you want me to transfer Gustav back to you?

RE: Herman Breitfield not son of Gustav Breitfield
Oh dear. I didn't realize it was so difficult to do, but I will try. Maybe the admin needs to do it? I've never tried to remove a person before, so I don't know what's involved. I thought it would be as easy as adding someone, but maybe not. I apologize. Hopefully we can get it done! I have since found that Herman is indeed Gustav's brother. Maybe a roundabout might be to link them to their parents? Guess I'll try to figure it out. Thanks, and again, please accept my apology.

Herman Breitfield not son of Gustav Breitfield
Hi Rhonda,
You still have Herman Breitfield, b. 1873, listed as the SON of Gustav Breitfield, b. 1878. Obviously this is not a viable relationship. Herman may have been Gustav's brother or cousin or some other relation, but he definitely was not his son. He couldn't have been- he was born 5 years BEFORE Gustav!
Please REMOVE Herman as Gustav's son? Thanks!

Roederer Kennedy in Resthaven
Was out taking pictures in Resthaven and came across a headstone for Roederer Kennedy, the reverse was Roederer Laas and I've uploaded them but wasn't sure who the Kennedy name belonged to. The reverse of the stone is attached to the Roederer memorials and Laas memorial that you have.

RE: Arthur Christian Eicher, Eastern Cemetery
Hi Rhonda,

Thanks for your kind message, though no thanks are necessary. If I hadn't run into a "glitch" (loss of hard drive and flash drive), I'd most likely be finished. I've offered the photos to Dr. DiBlasi, and will probably get with him after this semester, when he's not teaching.

Sometimes, I feel I can probably go directly to a memorial when somene gives me a name, I've been there so much. :) When someone responds to a photo offer on ancestry, it totally makes my day. Makes me think there's hope for Eastern.

Since I know about searching for ancestors' cemeteries, am in total agreement about the challenge. But for me, that's just one more reason that Eastern is so interesting..the challenge of finding markers, doing everything possible to make out a name, and more often than not, taking the photo anyway. I was asked one time by someone I guided to an area if I had family there...I do not.

And yes, your surname is awfully familiar. :)

Thanks again.

Arthur Christian Eicher, Eastern Cemetery
Marker found and photo'd. Actually, it is the very small stone right beside Frank J. and Philippine Eicher. The photo on their pages show the small stone.

RE: Alta Baber Roeder
No I am not related to the Roederer's. You might want to contact Suzan Gordon, as she was the one who posted the picture of your ancestor.

Tonya Lynn
Roederer/Effinger family
Hi. I was wondering if you are related to Louisa Roederer (Effinger) & Richard Effinger who were married in 1885? They were my great, great grandparents and I'd love to find more family members to share genealogy with.
