RE: French McGavock
Just after I wrote to you and went for my hair appointment, there was a note on the beauty shop door from Peggy: "Family illness. Closed today." That is the last I've heard. I feel like either Nora or Kim is ill. Nora is my age, so nothing would surprise me, and of course Kim has had serious health problems in the past. Thanks for writing.

RE: Request for transfer
Peggy Carter is my hairdresser and I'll be seeing her today. French was a real character, and loved by everybody who knew him. He stopped by the beauty shop often, and always had a smile and a joke for "the ladies." I'm happy to transfer his memorial.

Transfer of Memorial
Don, I was so pleased when you requested transferal of some memorials to your care. I feel as though relatives should have them, it means so much to family.

Please enjoy! I know they are in safe hands.
