RE: Birdie Brown
Sure I would love to talk this over with you! Birdie Carr was the sister of My Great Grand Father Elzy Fulton Carr. As far as your Great Grand father Henry Hawkins Brown, I think its verrry possible I am related to him too. =P As you probably already know the Taylor's,Browns, and Carr's are a very close group. I just dont have a lot of info on him...maybe you can help. Anyway here is my email natalie.schlesinger@gmail.com. BTW Nice to meet you Relative-o-mine! lol

Mary Jones DOB
Hi Larry,

Mary was my great-great grandmother who I was able to meet before her death. Unfortunately distance didn't allow for an opportunity to establish a close relationship.

The purpose of my leaving this note though is I do believe her DOB is incorrect and should read 1878. Consider that at 1888 she would have been 7 when my grandmother Ivey was born.

Thanks Larry and I appreciate your having taken the time to post these records and pictures.

I am connected to the Rogers line only because of their connection to the Whites. Thanks so much for making the additions I requested in such a timely manner!

WILLIS C. NATIONS
Dear Larry,

Wonder if I could have your permission to use the photo of the tombstone of Willis C. Nations in the Jerusalem Cemetery, AR? I am rewriting a book on the Mouser ancestry, and Willis was married to one of my distant relatives, Sarah Mouser.

The photo is beautiful!

Thank you for using your talent in this wonderful way!

Sincerely,
Barbara Mouser Nathman

Hank Rogers
Welch
I'm in the process of locating the D. P. Welch land in Clarke Co., AL & hopefully his grave, although that is unlikely. I plan on ordering a cenotaph stone for him to put at Bassett Creek church cemetery. I have one for my James & Sarah to put at Brown Cemetery near Three Creeks. I also want to put a stone for Millie Wilkins Welch at the Welch Cemetery in Copiah Co.

Also I am in the process of locating the Welch land in Burke Co., GA. It is likely something remains of the family cemetery there, it has just been lost to time. It won't be the first time I walked through woods to find an old cemetery.

RE: Rogers / Welch
Larry, Yes my James was a brother to your Agnes. As for the Rogers, mine were exclusively in Union Co., AR & Claiborne & Bienville Parishes, LA. No other Rogers from my family married a Welch.

There was the family of Commodore Rogers in Union & Columbia Co.'s, but they were not related to my Rogers either. There was also a Rogers family in Clarke Co. at the same time, not related.
