Matt Lucas
Georgia Tann

Hi there, My name is Loren (Matt ) Lucas. I was sold and adopted to a loving couple in Poplar Bluff, Mo. from Jessica Tann. and I am still finding out things about her and the crooks she was involved with. Thank god I was so lucky to be adopted by such a wonderful couple in Mo. I tried for many years to find out more about my adoption but every thing was 'Sealed from me". I have found out that my birth mother was from Mississippi but that's about it. I've done well in the Music biz and had a few world wide hit records and although now 80 years old I'm still recording and touring. Its such a shame that Tann hurt so many people and took their babies away from them to make money..... For years I tried to find out about my mother and who my father 'Might be'? If you would like to contact me, email is always the best as we travel so much but id be happy to send you my land line home number here in Fl. We live in Fl. and New Mexico. Be home till Jan 14th then off to Hawaii for 19 days then back. Thanks Sincerely, Matt Lucas

John Wesley Dorsey parents where Alexander Dorsey and Martha "Patsy" Ray Dorsey..They lived in Alabama but about mid 1850's went with a wagon train to texas. Martha ended up along with her granddaughters in Van Zandt County Texas. I believe but no proof that Alexander Dorsey passed away along on the wagon train..

Thank you for all your efforts in recording Memphis loved ones. I was surprised to see Mom's entry at such an early date. You must have photographed her headstone right after they placed it. (which I wouldn't have been able to view, if not for your efforts). Additionally, you have photographed her mother, grandmother and two uncles. Neither I nor the cemetery representative could locate Uncle Roscoe's headstone the last time I was in Memphis but YOU did! We don't say thank you often enough for what you and other dedicated ancestry buffs have done. Please accept my heartfelt THANKS for honoring my family and many, many more.

Thank you so much for fulfilling my request for update photos to be added to the website of my grandmother's grave. If I can ever do anything for you or donate to your cause, please let me know. I can also provide additional information on my grandmother, grandfather and uncle who are all buried there.

I would like to ask if you would transfer ownership of Dorothy Ozanne Fisher to me.

She was my great grandmother.

Thank you for your consideration.

Thank you for documenting the crimes of that evil ***** Georgia Tann. I grew up in orphanages myself and I hate to say, the conditions today are very similar as in her day. People put blind trust into the agencies that make big bucks from kidnapping and selling children.

I am trying to link pages of my family and manage those not already being handled by the family. My grandparents (H.C. Gray - Find A Grave Memorial# 88288986 & Jimmie Carothers Gray - Find A Grave Memorial# 88289480) were from Miss., but settled in Memphis near their sisters.

Would you please transfer the following pages of their sisters and brothers-in-law from Forest Hill Cemetery in Memphis?

Estelle Gray Sloan: Find A Grave Memorial# 126450076
William A Sloan: Find A Grave Memorial# 126450075

Reba O'Neal Rippy: Find A Grave Memorial# 110434927
Cecil Lee Roy Rippy, Sr: Find A Grave Memorial# 110434926. Since you’re interested in Memphis history (as am I), here’s a tidbit: His tv repair shop was visible in early photos of Stax records.

I actually have the deeds for 3 plots near Aunt Reba, which were to be for my grandparents and mother, and am trying to figure out what to do with them.

Thank you for creating the pages.

Neil....Ms. Weber's grave has no marker. She is buried in Chapel Hill Public Lot #4 Sp. 544. I'll send you an edit. I posted a pic of the Section. Many of the graves there are unmarked. Feel free to delete it if you don't want it.

Effie (#76748207) is my maternal great-grandmother's sister. I am trying to determine if she was married prior to her marriage to Samuel A OVERTON. Samuel A is buried in Madison Co, TN next to his first wife. Would it be possible to provide the information about the other graves around Effie's (section 16 A of Forest Hill Cemetery Midtown)?
