|CJ||RE: Questions re Bryants|
I am quite sure of the relationship between Benjamin (1891-1935) and Esom (1841-1918) for Ben was my grandfather. My mother was his daughter. I would be happy to answer whatever questions you may have to the best of my ability.

|Gene Bryant||RE: Tarlton Bryant (1785-1854) / John Bryant (1692-1741) connection?|
I got this additional data from researcher Darrel Brown, who has the most extensive database Iíve found. I felt fairly comfortable with it, as it seemed to fit what I had. I doubt that really hard data exist anywhere.
Iím sure John Bryant had more than one son, and likely there could have been a John Jr. who was Williamís brother. I would make no distinction between Bryan and Bryant. They are the same surname, just different spellings (sometimes Brian and Briant).
The South Carolina connection is significant, I believe. I would give considerable weight to that.
I made an image of the data page for John Bryant and tried to insert it here, but it wouldn't take. Email me (firstname.lastname@example.org) and I'll be able to send it that way.

John Bryant, Sr.'s son William is how me, you and Lee Bryant are related. Lee is my grandfather, Robert Gene "Bob" Bryant's, nephew and I am his grandson, William is my 5th great grandfather and I think he is Lee's 4th great grandfather.

|Carol Bryant||Tarleton Bryant|
Hello Philip: My name is Carol Bryant and I am also a contributor to Find A Grave. I was very pleased to see you had added Tarleton's information to Find A Grave. I have been to the cemetery where he is buried and have pictures. I will attach one when I manage to get my scanner working. My lineage is Tarleton, James Hardin, Annias, Judge Andrew and my father Loyd C Bryant.
Up until now I have not been successful in going back beyond Tarleton. This helps a lot and if you have any further information you care to share I would greatly appreciate it.
Your very distant cousin,

|Betty Frey||RE: Thank you.|
You are most welcome, Philip. I had the good fortune to visit Kentucky very recently and was able to stop at the Ryan Cemetery. I took the addl. Bryant headstone markers when I came across them.

Went over today and took the picture of Esam Bryant's Stone for you, and I seen that you were asking about any other Bryant's in that area.
I have done some work on the Bryant's from Whitley Co. KY, if you would be interested.
Any certain family??
Look forward to hearing from you.
