Great job Marlon on getting photographs and finding this cemetery! The cemetery has been reported to the LA Dept of Archaeology as abandoned. Do you know who the property owner may be and do you have specific driving directions or the nearest physical address? Thanks again!

Yeah, love to find those lost cemeteries. Been waiting for deer season to end so I can get back in the woods to record/photo more of them. You're a busy man. Thanks for your dedication. I'll check out Martin Gauthiers wedsite.
Keep up the good work.

Thanks Marlon! You may also want to check out Rock Way Cemetery, south of Pace Lake near Horseshoe Lake Road. It is right in that area too. To my knowledge, it has never been documented before. It is on findagrave (with a map even), but it has no listings!

Marlon, back in March, I told you about this gravestone, found at the entrance to the Angus Chemical Camp on Moon Lake Road near Sterlington. Just got a call from a descendant in West Texas. Is there any way you can get out there and document it for findagrave and the state cemetery registry? The only documentation I have are two black and white photos. One of the headstone, and one of the gate to the camp, both taken in January, 2003. I'd hate for it to get lost to history!

Hi: I have relatives buried in this cemetary. I am not sure about the name. I was visiting my mother at Thanksgiving and we went to the cemetary. My grandmother was Bertie Harrison Kitchens. My great grandmother was Sally Amanda Kinnaird Harrison. My great grandfather was Johnny F. Harrison. I took many pictures and recognized some of the names from stories my grandmother told me. Bo Harrison is my second cousin. His father Bealie Harrison and my grandmother Bertie Harrison Kitchens were brothers and sisters. I had started submitting the information from the headstones. But never had a chance to complete them. Where are you from? Morehouse Parish?
