Dawn Belding Rockwell
Hi Ann
Do you have all of the requested headstones? Other than the one the gentleman couldn't find a stone for? If not, I'll be out next week to the Summerville Cemetery.

RE: Joseph Glover
I forgot to say that in the record that I posted where he is in the cemetery, is also a record of the stones they found and his name is not noted there. The only Glover family are Campbell, Maybell, Carlisle, Hugh, Thomas, Virginia, Campbell Jr and Mary. So he may not have ever had a stone.

Sorry to say that I have tried multiple times to find this stone, but have not found one. I did find a record where he is stated as being in this cemetery. I noted the record on the picture posted. Hope this helps. Should be able to get a military stone through the VA if you want one. A lot of paper work to do so.

Please note that I have also added William Pratt Heath and his wife from the same plot. He was a "founder" of the Coca-Cola company!

RE: Susan West
Hi Ann,
You are very welcome. Susan's husband's stone was difficult to read but my husband did a rubbing to show it was him. Happy to find them for you. Pat

Joy Steele
RE: McLeod King
You are welcome. My husband is related to the King family as well as many others in the south Georgia area. We were down there again to get photos for my work on his family Walker of Darien, GA and other surnames to whom he is related. Personally, we are only about 250 miles away and always have a good time visiting people we know there and hunting for more family clues.

We nearly overlooked McLeod King's marker. It is located in the Cay family area and is only half its original size, apparently broken and reset in the ground.

Glad to help.
Joy

Hello Ann, Was not able to find his stone, so I went by the library close by. They have an old cemetery book there on this cemetery. It does not list him as having a stone in this cemetery, but the Guntersville cemetery book does list him as verified CSA Veterans buried in the cemetery. So I will leave his memorial in hopes someone else will find this stone.
