RE: Catherine Baker Simpson
Glad to be of help. I wanted to let you know that she has two other people buried beside her. I believe they are her son and his wife (Carolus Adams Simpson Jr. and Nanon Simpson). I looked it up on Ancestry.

I'd be happy to post the pictures I took of their graves if you want to go ahead and create memorials for them.

Carolus Adams Simpson Jr. 1885-1924
Nanon Mott Simpson 1894-1971

RE: Mary Dalhgren
I was recently at Routh Cemetery and photographed all the stones - I didn't notice any Dahlgrens. (I haven't posted all those photos yet but I'll look again tonight). There is one corner with many broken stones...

I have many photographs of Mary Malvina Routh Dahlgren's grave at Natchez City Cemetery with General Charles Dahlgren at her side - and the rest of the large raised fenced plot is empty.

also, thanks for the book title, it is one we've enjoyed - got it at an antique store in Vicksburg.

You are very welcome. When I noticed there were no dates on his marker, I checked all around the big monument to make sure there was not another marker with more info on it. I wanted to make sure one had not been covered over with grass. I have found several that I had to dig out before taking a photo in this cemetery. Unfortunately, there wasn't.

we visited Mary Routh Dahlgren's grave again in Natchez and took more photos - she has a plot almost to herself and General Dahlgren up on a hill in that beautiful cemetery! there is a large iron wall with gate around it.

I also read that her body was moved from Routh Cemetery to Natchez City Cemetery a few miles away by Charles Dahlgren.

Hi - I am working on fulfilling the photo request for Paul ALEXANDER (born 1876), son of Col. Peter Wellington & Maria Teresa (SHORTER) WELLINGTON. I am wondering what your source is for his being buried at Linwood Cemetery? Thanks - John

Blue Rose Of Cairo
Sorry my entries are all from death certs, newspapers and coroner records. Sadly lone mountain has many unknowns and unmarked graves there are hundreds of Chinese burials alone lost to time. So he is likely lying in one of the information needed grave sites or lying under the street which used to be part of the graveyard and was paved over long ago.

Hi Ann,
I was glad to get the pics from St. Mary's Cemetery for you. I got them before the snow(s) came. I suggested links for that family that were accepted. See Memorial# 6518652.

Francis Miller
I am adding a couple of grave marker photos to this memorial. The stones are a little hard to read. There are five markers for Millers in this area. There are three markers on the front row and two on the back row. the front row has markers for Frances Miller, Mary A. Miller and Roy Miller, Sr.. The back row has a marker for Susie Miller and Susie Miller Altman. Take a look and see what you think. The date may need to be adjusted. I am adding the photos to these five.
