Henry Story Hughey
Hi. I beleive, from the Ancestry research I have done, that Henry Story Hughey was the son of Jacob Hughey, the brother of Henry Hughey, and Margaret Cook, the possible sister of Mary Cook.

If you look on old marriage records for Henry Hughey and Mary Cook, you will see listed on the same page a marriage date for Jacob Hughey and Margaret Cook, about 10 years after the marriage of Henry and Mary.

RE: walk at Brazeau
I am so upset, I just got this message. It was so so cold. Especially at the cemetery. The school house was freezing, they had to remove the chimney because of a leak and now the old stove couldnt be used. I did take a few pics, I'll send you some of the ones I got. I have a pic I wanted you to see I'll dig it up and get your opinion. Needless to say it was a good day. Long ride and cold put a damper on it. ugh!!!

Hi Dave! I am so glad you found your ancestor photo on eBay. I used to try and track down the descendants if I found a photo and a Find A Grave memorial, and many times the people I found were very interested in the photos that were for sale, but more often than not never shopped eBay and didn't have a clue how to bid. I was so thrilled for one guy who managed to get an entire album of very old family photos. That being said, When I first started posting photos on Find A Grave, I did not ask permission; I thought that they were in the public domain because they were so old, but I was set straight on that, lol. I did miss one family of Ms. Miller's (all the ones she listed were the same photo)when I removed them all; don't know how I missed it, but there ya go. My bad, as the kids say. I usually just search obits in my family area...New York and MI, but I will do a quick search and see if I can find your Nancy. Find A Grave threatened to remove me if I posted an image of an obit under "other photo"...that area is "reserved", so if I do find an obit, I will just send you the link and you may do as you wish with it. Thanks for your kind words. :)

RE: David George Milster
Hi Dave,

Glad to see you found some distant relatives in my eBay store :) I'll send your photos out today.

As you can imagine, I get lots of requests to let people know when I list specific surnames. To manage this, I send an email whenever I list a bunch of new photos - usually about once a month. It shows the subjects' name, location, relationships (son of...husband of...father of...) and any other interesting stuff I find while researching the photos. I currently send it to 420 people. You can sign up to receive the email (eBay calls it a newsletter) in the left-hand column of my eBay store home page

Hi Dave,

4 Milster photos - David, his wife Mary, Janet Milster Barber (just added this one to her memorial) and Nancy Caroline Milster Tacke - were in an old album I bought from an eBayer in Missouri. The first 3 have been sold, the last one you can find in this list of photos remaining from that album

Other previously sold photos were
- Clara, Roscoe and Prince Maintz of Kansas
- Salina Patterson of Perry Co, MO
- Frank Defani - Frohna, MO
- Guy Lane - Longtown, MO
If you'd like to see any of those, send your email id to
Sorry it took so long to reply - we've been traveling from MA to FL for the winter.

RE: alice dempster

They did a great job cleaning the stones. They look so much better. My phone is a samsung s4 10x zoom. It takes real good pictures, very detailed. It helps to see the letters. It helps to crop them on picasa website, it brings it in a little closer. I added their daughter Lois V. Bronenkant.
I wish I would have got the whole stone, but wanted to make sure I got all the letters. You might want to check it, I think it says son, Lois and Louis is confusing. Is James Wallis supposed to be at Brazeau Cemetery? I went through the whole book but I haven't found him. There is still alot of graves that have no stones and some are broked away and nothing left. Sad... Are you going to the Christmas walk the first Saturday in December? I love going that day, I can snap picture of photos that everyone donated for the day. If you can think of any more names of photos let me know, I'll keep adding. Thanks Dave!

RE: Ann Amelia
Thanks Dave! It does make it hard. And if they are just listed in the Bio then they don't show up. I find it helpful to google it then most of the time it will show up on F.A.G. I did repost some of the grave photos as the stones are really clean and they are easier to see. Thanks again, Dave!

Ann Amelia
Hi Dave,

I posted a photo of Ann Amelia in Brazeau Cemetery. She is buried beside Daniel Cline and three Cline family members. When I looked closely at the stone it looks to me In memory of Ann Amelia, daughter of Delavin & Susan M. Sheppherd.
DYancey has a Emily D. Shepperd as a child of Delavin and Susan M. Wilson Cline Sheppherd. Could you check into it so we can be sure. I posted the pic on her memorial # 110226128.
Thanks, Karen Clarke

Hi, Dave!
I found your findagrave info and that of another Schaefer relative of yours on Findagrave( which I am also a member)while looking up info on Revered Henry Schaefer from Rhode Island.
I purchased a huge photo album this weekend at an Antigua store and every page has beautiful old professional photos in it. Luckily, a couple of them are labeled, leading me to your ancestor.
Please email me and I will give you more info with pic so those that are included. There are THIRTY in all!

William Wilkinson
Thank you for your suggestion that I link W.R. Wilkinson to his wife, Jennie. I will need to visit her gravesite first to verify the info, because the birth and death years that I have for her differ from the ones listed on Find A Grave. Do you have any information on their children John Henry Wilkinson or Antonette Wilkinson?
Thank you,
Tom Wilkinson,

RE: Melissa Fink Blackwelder Cline
I have been to Cold Water Church. Problem there is that there are a lot of very old stones that are so weathered they are unreadable. Maybe I will go out there sometime with shaving cream. That can help. The readable stones there have been done with findagrave but there are lots more that could be done if they were readable. They may have a listing of graves in the Lore room at the Concord library. The late Lore sisters did a whole bunch of cemetery readings years ago (which is why the family history room in the library is named for them). The Milsters intermarried a good bit with some of my Blackwelder ancestors. I know they have some Milster information in the Lore room, think it was maybe family Bible page, or wills, can't remember now. But it would be worth your time to visit that library

Thanks for the correction. I knew who both her husbands were--have no idea why I put Fisher in there! Must have stayed up too late that night. It is fixed now!
