RE: Elizabeth Shute Cushing
P.S.

Her burial/death was also recorded at Fitchburg (this record gives Dorchester as the place of death).

Hi Meg,

Her death was recorded at Boston the image is available online (I can send you a copy if you'll provide an email address).

I added a photo of the headstone to her memorial; as you can see, only the year of death is inscribed.

RE: Thank you, Russ!
Thank you Meg. I welcome the chance to roam a cemetery as well maintained and scenic as the Pine Hill Cemetery.

She is Buried in Hingham Center Cemetery. Pyam Burr lot. I spoke with Michael Studley, from that cemetery 781-749-0326. He looked at lot, has card of the burial. Lot # is A-85. Anna Skinner was a Burr. Burr house is on Levitt st. He seems very knowedgeable about Hingham and may know your family. Give him a call.

Husband Eugene Skinner died in 1940. Everett Bickford was responsible for arrangements in Hingham Center Cemetery. The Pyam Burr lot?
Hope this make sense.

Hello Meg, I'm trying to fulfill your request. SHe was Cremated in Forest Hills Crematory. Remains were picked up by Harold Downing in 1949. I've called and spoke to the Downing Funeral home they are checking their records to find what or where they went.
I should know more later today.

New Haven Crypt
I just claimed your photo request for the New Haven Crypt. To warn you in advance, the lighting in the crypt is very poor and the stones are very hard to read. I make no promises as to the quality of the photograph.

Meg, thank you so much for the picture you took of the hillside and my brother's grave. I really appreciate it! If you have a better picture than the one I posted, please feel free to put it on the site...as I'm the one that put the picture there after thinking no one was available to do it since the time had expired.
