Hi Michelle, Thank you for all the work you've done on these gravestones! It is not easy!
I have one more piece of info for the page about Verna. She was the mother of my best friend since high school (60 years already!). I suspect at the time this was done they hadn't decided about her burial...or at least you knew it was not right there. She has been buried in the Little Rock Township Cemetery at Plano, Illinois. With every one else in Florida or on the west coast, I am the one who "checks on things" here in Illinois.
Could you add that cemetery name (long but that is the way Find A Grave indexes it). I know that her husband would appreciate it being on there.
He fretted a bit when it took so long to get the stone engraved, so this will also relieve his mind if he is looking on Find A Grave.
Thanks for doing such a nice job of including the obituary too. That's the first time I have seen it as I wasn't able to go for the funeral.

Walter Layman
You did a super job adding Mr. Layman's information. ;-)

There is another great story in the June 11th issue of the Hampshire Review entitled Knights. It also includes another Knight in the story as they died a few days apart. It is a really neat story and thought you might want to include it in Mr. Layman's page in addition to the obit. If you can't get it, I will see that you get it.

Thanks for listening to my suggestion!

Connollys
Hi Michelle -
I just added memorials for many Connollys and a few Kanes in St Patricks Cemetery, Johnstown, NY. Not sure I got them ALL, as my time was limited last summer, but hope some of them are of interest.
If any are related to you and you'd like me to transfer management, please let me know.
Best regards,
Peg Eddy #47488213
