Thanks so much Jim for the picture of my GGMother Laura Barry and her daughter Elizabeth Barry. I did not know when I would have been able to drive from Georgia to Willet, NY to take the picture. Thanks again.

Rufus Rose
Aloha e Jim,

I just found the page and photo you posted for Rufus Rose... he is a grandparent of my 2X great grandfatherʻs uncle... this uncle raised my grandfather and grandfather took his last name of Rose... long, convoluted story of which I am still searching for all the info, but I am writing to ask for your okay to use the grave stone photo of his page on my private family tree. Thanks so much...

Hi Jim, I hope all is well with you. Will you please transfer the memorials for James Frank Blancher and Loretta L Hazard Blancher to me? They were my great, great grandparents.

Thanks, Donna

Carol Darling

I believe you had a photo request for Ellis & Stella Wyatt at Cortland Rural Cem.
I was able to locate their marker hidden under 2 large bushes or trees.
I have added them to their memorial pages.

Great! I like helping find family links. Would you like me to post the same photo for his wife, Clara?

I wish that the plaque was not so crusted with residue. If I ever get over there again I will try to take a better one. Mike

This is the only marker I could fine in Centerville Cemetery with the name Livermore on it. So I hope this is Henrys marker.

RE: McDonough German Town Line Cemetery
Hi Jim,

This disagreement is so silly, it is actually comical.

I can cite Thomas Lloyd, Helen Hill Read Tuttle, The DAR and the Chenango County Historian's Office. You cite Rootsweb. Well, a name listing on Rootsweb is not a source at all.

If the name were actually "Dutch Hill" it would more than likely have a few Dutch names listed.

I don't see any Dutch names. All I see are the same memorials listed as the McDonough German Town Line Cemetery.

I am sure you are sincere in your beliefs. But, sincerity is no guarantee for truth.

I think we just need to agree to disagree on this.

I apologize if I offended you in any way.

I am going to let the powers to be at Find A Grave settle this one.

Warm Regards,

RE: Duplicate Cemetery Listings
Hi Jim,

The fact is you are duplicating memorials and are simply trying to justify your dishonesty.

You simply need to keep looking for Dutch Hill Cemetery.

Warm Regards,

RE: Duplicate Cemetery Listings
Hi Jim,

The interesting fact is the source you cite lists both cemeteries. I don't think you found Dutch Hill Cemetery at all. You found McDonough German Town Line and just want to call it Dutch Hill.
