About Edwud Harris
Hi:

I saw that you posted information about:

Harris, Edwad 131071066
b. Feb. 20, 1894 d. Apr. 1, 1952

from the Greenwood Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky. He maybe my Great Grandfather! I was wondering if anyone was buried near him including one or more of the following (not sure how the name would be spelled because I was told his name was Edward but I was told my great grandmother or father couldn't read or spell so it makes since that the name could be spelled wrong.):

Mariette Harris (her former name Payne (?)and she was married to Edwad)
Willa Harris (one of there children that died at 18yrs old)

Any information would be great!

Thank you
Christie

Harry Green
Hello,

I have a great, great, great grandfather named either Harry or Henry Green. He was married to Lucy Green maiden name Sager. I was curious if the headstone photo posted of Harry was a familiar person to you and if so... was Harry married to Lucy?

Thank you,

Deborah

RE: Sedgwick Josaiah Comstock
Blanche's birth(s) and marriage are on Familysearch.org, a free site. Her death record matches the 1898 date. I figured the first had to be the right one, otherwise they'd need a time machine. Here is her death.

SSDI
Name: Blanche Wright
SSN: 377-22-8857
Last Residence: 48146 Lincoln Park, Wayne, Michigan, USA
Born: 27 Dec 1898

There is no memorial.

Clifford matches a son in the 1940 census, so yes, he is almost certainly a son.

Here is what I have on Sedgwick after a new search

RE: Sedgwick Josaiah Comstock
Yes you can have it. Before I transfer I investigate again, and add information. All goes onto my database centrallake on worldconnect. Do you know what became of his wife Blanche Secord Comstock? There seems to be a lot of incorrect information on her. Here's what I found:

Name: Sedgwick Comstock
Age 21 years!
Birthplace: Michigan
Spouse's Name: Blanch Secord
Spouse's Age 16 years
Spouse's Birth Year: 1898
Spouse's Birthplace: Michigan
Event Date: 19 Nov 1914
Event Place: Mackinac Island, Mackinac, Michigan
Father's Name: Alman Comstock
Mother's Name: Mary Martin
Spouse's Father's Name: Elmer Secord
Spouse's Mother's Name: Maggie Smith

also
Michigan, Births, 1867-1902
Name: Blanch Secord
Birth Date: 27 Dec 1898 (also 1899 and 1900, identical records except for year!)
Birthplace: Port Huron, St Clair, Michigan
Gender: Female
Father's Name: Elmer Secord
Father's Birthplace: Michigan
Mother's Name: Maggie Secord
Mother's Birthplace: Michigan

That's three separate birth records, one each for 1898, 1899, and 1900, otherwise identical. I've never seen anything like it. First is probably right.

Do you know when and where she died? Is there a memorial for her?

Found 12 children, including one who died before age 2.

Abel and Eveline Perry
I noticed that you entered Eveline Perry with a picture of her grave stone. Her husband's grave stone is part of hers. They were buried in the Oake Grove Cemetery, Morenci, Lenawee, Michigan, United States. Would you please enter Abel with a picture of his half of the grave stone and connect them together showing them as spouses. Thanks for you help.

Frank J Buehrer- added: Jul 09, 2009 Find A Grave Memorial# 39256622
Dear Ardyth & Brad,
I just wanted to thank you so much for creating this page for Frank J Buehrer. I am his grand daughter, Joyce Elaine Barley, daughter of his daughter, Helen Ruth Buehrer Barley. I am new to the find a grave site as far as contributing. I do so appreciate your volunteer efforts. It is such a joy to find photos of the headstones of our loved ones, especially when we live so far away. I have a page in there for Frank's 1st wife, Jessie Calkins, my grandmother, who died in the flu epidemic in 1919 leaving 4 children between 4 and 14 yrs old. I have photos of her headstone and will add them soon. Some one did the same for my Great Grandparents (Barley's) in Northville, Michigan's Rural Hill Cemetery. I had never had the opportunity to visit their graves so it was such a surprise to see them pop up. I have been to the Rome Center Cemetery with my mother and my Uncle Henry Buehrer many years back. Just wanted you both to know you are appreciated very much. Joyce E. Barley

Ezra Tunison - Oak Grove cemetery, Lenawee Co., MI
Hi! You took photos about a year ago in the Oak Grove cemetery of Ezra Cole Tunison (Memorial #38439490 - Lot #35, 1350). My gr. gr. grandmother is Havila (Tunison) Frantz (memorial #29932628 - Lot #171, 342). I was able to get obituaries for both from the Adrian Public Library, which I added to the memorials, would you happen to know how close those burials are located to each other? Or if they are related?
