Spicer family
Hi Wyndy,

I am researching my husband's family, the Spicers. My husband is descent from William C. and Margaret J. (Moore) Spicer's son John H. Spicer. Thanks for all the info you have for them, it has filled in some gaps that I have! However, the death date you have for John is incorrect, it should be Jan 22, 1928 in Swifton, Jackson, Arkansas.

Thanks again, and your welcome to email me and we can talk "family tree" stuff!

Olivia Williamson Braddy
Thomas Jefferson Bird
Thomas Jefferson Bird was still living in 1860. The family can be found in Emanuel County. This portion later became Candler. He is not living in 1870. The 1850 on his tombstone should probably have been 1860.

New Beulah Church Cemetery, Candler County, GA
Hi Wyndy,
I made a small series of edit requests in the above cemetery that does nothing more than remove the decimal after the middle names which I figure deserves an explanation.
Not using the decimal/period in a memorial is just a technique to assist anyone conducting a name-search using the person's full middle name. If you've placed a period after the middle initial, then the searcher will not succeed in the search unless also using a period. But if you remove the period, then the person's search using the full middle name will have your memorial included in their list of successful hits.

Ludie Oswalt Picture
I like your picture better than mine for Ludie Oswalt 147521301. I, also, prefer the order they are in. It almost appears the monument has been cleaned since I took my photo.

RE: Rewis cemetery #1
Thanks so much for helping with this. I went to the old Rewis cemetery and there was a metal funeral home marker someone had put out for a John Rewis--if I am remembering this correctly. There were not many marked graves. This would be a rememberance stone, but I don't live in Georgia and need some coordination assistance with local folks.

I have made requests with the edit function and it appears you are not getting you notices or you can not get you email so I will post to the public area.....
memorial for Troy Anderson # 47354232 and Willie Anderson # 48050331
I am fully aware that direct line is criteria for transfers. This would have been my aunts brother, I am working on my cousins family as she does not do much with the computer.
Would you transfer these 2 memorials to me, I would be able to link family members and change the ones that have the wrong relatives. I am aware of six siblings and no less than 8 half sibling.
