William Nelson Bellew
I am looking for the burial place of William Nelson Bellew son of John Bellew and Cincinnati Q. Dunkerson Bellew. I believe he died around September 1897 Gallatin Twp. Clay Co., Missouri.
I keep thinking he might have been buried in same cemetery as his parents? His wife Mary Allen Munson Bellew who died in 1914 Gardner, Johnson Co., KS.
Do you know who the Sexton of Cemetery of Gladstone Cemetery might be that I can write to them?
Any help would be appreciated.

RE: Della Cook
Yes, please do take a picture if you go. I'm new to find a grave so I'm still learning to find my way around the site. I have sent out for a request on the site for a photo, but I don't know if it will happen or not. So, I would appreciate it if you can get one for me.

Della Cook Cardinal
I am searching for this ancestor of my husband's and I saw that you left a note. The dates that show here are exact to the woman I am searching for. I didn't find a picture of her marker and I am wondering if you might have one. Do you happen to know anything about this woman? I believe her to be the daughter of Julie Elizabeth Ann Patton and I believe from the information that I have been given that her father's name was James George Washington Cook. I am hoping that you might have detailed information on Della.

Thank you

Pitchfords @ Double Branch
Are you willing to transfer the Pitchfords @ Double Branch to me, a family member, no matter how far removed, however I do understand you are not willing to transfer those related to yourself.

I want to update everybody but that would be a lot of edits. If you want to keep them, that would be great if you don't mind doing the edits.

Thanks Alician.

Tony Meyers
Request for permission to use images
My name is Tony Meyers and I volunteer at The Clay County Archives and Historical Library. This non-profit, all volunteer organization is based in Liberty, Missouri. In commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War we are working to publish a book containing information on Union, Confederate and Home Guard soldiers who are buried in Clay County. We are nearing completion of the research phase of the project and are beginning to pull together text and images for the book.

The purpose of my note is twofold. First, to thank you for your contributions to Find-A-Grave has been a valuable source of information for our project. And second, to seek your permission to reproduce in the book, some of the gravestone photos that you have contributed to Find-A-Grave. When possible, we hope to include a photo pertaining to each soldier. Leveraging Find-A-Grave photos will be a big help to our project since approximately 800 veterans will be highlighted in the book. All proceeds from the book will remain with The Clay County Archives and be used to continue the ongoing operation of the organization.

Thank you once again for your work on and thank you in advance for considering our request for permission to utilize some of the wonderful photographs that you have created.

Faubion Cemetery
I just gotta tell ya...I really, really appreciate the good quality of the photos you've taken and posted. I appreciate that it's not easy on some of these old stones, and you do great work! I am related to almost everyone in this cemetery, directly through the Faubions, Thomases, Broadhursts, Boydstons, so having their stones preserved by this means is important to me. Thank you!!

Hi Alician,

The photo linked to John G Sharp (1840-1853)is the stone for James Sharp (1835-1860). If you have a photo for John, I'd love to see it posted. Also for the other 2 Sharps (Lewis and Sarah) if you have those. Thank you so much for what you do.

Went to the Williams Cemetery but the only Scholz I could find were William and Emma. Without a location, almost impossible to find. These two Scholz burials only had the metal frame card, no headstone. Let me know if you would like them.

Baby Wahl & Mary Cecilia
Hi Alician, I have not yet heard from the KC KS cemetery. I did receive the McNeese photos. Baby Wahl's headstone was not located. I will check again with the cemetery to see if they can tell me whether there is a marker or not. Sad to think there might not be one...

RE: Pearsons
Hi Alicia,
I can take them over if you like.
I am related to the famly and I know several people from the different lines.
I'm not sure if William is buried there: I think he went back to Audrain County, MO, (where his brothers remained), I was just hoping to find him with his wife .
And I also discovered his son John OP had left Missouri for Arkansas prior to William's death.
Thank you for all your help,
