I found a gravestone for Fredrick Martin in Sec 111 of Woodland Cemetery. However the birth date is 1822 not 1812, the death date is correct though. Is it possible that the dates are incorrect? Please let me know. I have the pic if you want me to send it to you.

There are a couple of other names on his monument, but they are hard to read; one of them appears to be for a Margaret or Margaretha, (records give her dates to be 5/4/1828 - 6/21/1884).

|PATTY McFERREN-BLANTON & JR BLANTON||GENERAL JACKSON WHITMIRE|
Hi! We have put the following message as a "data flower" on his Find A Grave Memorial so his family might write back and give us more info:
Hundreds of "In Memory" plaques placed by cemetery caretakers exist where field stones were placed by families. UNKNOWN #123 WHITMIRE plaque is between MARGIE C & MARION A PETIT and CORA S WHITMIRE (General Jackson Whitmire's 2nd wife). Info?

I also took a marker photo of Charles Heath's spouse, Ida Pressley Heath, and another grave alongside them: Louise Heath Yeates (wasn't sure if that was a daughter.) Always glad to do such a small favor. Merry Christmas! Nancy

You are very welcome...I enjoyed visiting that cemetery, its a very nice one, considering how old some of the graves are. I will be happy to look for anymore you might need there.

I enjoy taking photos for families, especially those who live outside Etowah County. Thank you for your kind words. ngl

|Lorna||RE: Providence Cemetery|
I don't know the correct name of the cemetery. Eastlawn Cemetery & Westlawn signs are posted and are located on either side of Providence Church. I don't think Providence Church upkeeps the cemeteries. The older part of Eastlawn is not mowed & parts of Westlawn are mowed by individual familes (random graves were obviously mowed around and others hadn't been for a while).

This cemetery has already been listed as West Lawn & I posted all of my pics (including the one you requested for Wm Winstead) on it. If the name isn't correct, please contact FindAGrave & have it corrected. I wondered about that one myself.

After I posted this message, I see that David Snow has also sent you the same information.
I apologize for the duplication. Just trying to help.

I see you left a photo request for Hugh McCann in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Lauderdale County, Mississippi. The link above should take you to his memorial in the correct cemetery. This cemetery is physically located in Sumter County, Alabama. There is a pretty complete listing and photographs of all the graves there. I'm not sure why this duplicate cemetery was added, as most all the graves in the Mississippi listing are already in the Alabama site.
My husband and I have personally visited this cemetery with our GPS, so I'm sure it's in Alabama. They probably just have a Miss. mailing address, since they're so close to the state line.
Hope this helps!

I notice you have a photo request for Hugh McCann at the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Lauderdale Co, MS. I'm not sure why the cemetery was relisted there since there is a complete set of memorials including photos for Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Sumter Co, AL, which is where it actually is. The map for the Sumter Co version is correct. The one for Lauderdale Co is not. The church and cemtery is about 200-300 yds inside AL. Anyway, here's the correct URL:
