RE: Thank you
Beth, you are welcome. Evergreen Cemetery is pretty unique in the information you can get online. It is a big and very interesting cemetery. I started going there researching Civil War veterans buried there and enjoy doing Find A Grave requests there.

RE: Thank you
Hi Beth,
You are welcome; glad I could take the photo for you. The Lynam graves are located in the north-east part of Evergreen Cemetery. You can actually see for yourself: go to their web site (
Click on "Search Burial Records" - enter the name in the boxes.
When the name comes up click on "More Information"
On the next page click on "Map"
You will now see an aerial photo of the cemetery - the Lynam grave is on the road that runs along the east (right side in the photo) side of the cemetery.
The red marker shows the location of the grave.
You can zoom in close enough to probably be able to make out the Lynam monument.
Hope you find it ok - let me know if you have a problem.

Hi Beth, I lost your email address because my computer crashed. The last time I talked to you, I got you mixed up with someone else, a decendent of Bertha's sister Pearl. I found Bertha's grave in Factory Point Cemetary but I havenT found anything about Elizabeth Lily that I know is true. I found her remarried in Peru, Vermont. I'll get back to you with her new last name. So far I haven't searched for John or Hattie's graves. Do you still have my email address? If so, it's easier to comunicate. Mary Jo

RE: James F Roby
Hi Beth - hopefully your message was about Memorial# 112047309 :) I'd be happy to add any appropriate information to his memorial. I didn't submit a photo request. You may already know this, but you can check for photo requests on a cemetery's home page ( for Summer Hill), Click on the Photo Requests link. It's fine to ask me whether I've submitted a request, but you'll probably get the info faster by checking the photo list. -Deb

RE: Lydia Jane Pierson

I would first contact the manager of the other LJ Pierson memorial to determine (1)if that person would be willing to tranfer their memorial to you or (2) to update their memorial with your information and links so that you could then delete your memorial.

You could also just add your memorial to that cemetery knowing that someone in an official capacity with Find A Grave will eventually merge the two memorials with priority given to the oldest memorial.

Lydia Wheeler Pierson

Thank you for the additional info concerning the Pierson family.

I transferred Lydia/Jane to your management as you suspect that you may be related to her and you'll likely have more info to add to her bio in the future. Do as you wish with the memorial (name, bio information, etc.).

She was the wife of the brother of one of my greatXXX grandparents, so she's very distant to me and I'll likely never pay any attention to her memorial in the future.

You're welcome to transfer her back to me if you have no desire to manage her memorial.

Hi Beth,

Thanks! That's great. Do you have a photo request up for Rose? We have too much snow here right now to look for the stone, but if you add a request I am sure someone would be happy to look for it for you when the weather improves.

Best wishes,
