Hello, this is just a head's up, so that when you find an email from a stranger (me!), you'll know it's legit. I'm going to send you a fairly lengthy bit of information about Harold a Ropack for your consideration.

Jonathan Gilpatrick #81656842
The parents you have attached are not correct. They were born in the late 1800's,, and Frances the mother died 20 years before Jonathan was born.

E-3720 Edward F. Cunningham CUNIFF in Togus

Hi Earl,

I took the gravestone photos yesterday and should have them "crunched & cropped" and posted to his memorial before the weekend is over.

I have added the transcription... he was buried as CUNNIFF.

Sincerely, Tim

E-3720 Edward F. Cunningham in Togus

Hi Earl,

I'm going to have the car today, so when I drop Grace off at work in Auggusta I will hop over to Togus and re-fulfill that photo request. No need to request it again. Also, I have asked Val for a transfer so I can update his information.

Sincerely, Tim

Looks like he was born in Ireland about 1844 and enlisted at Roxbury, Mass. on 26 May 1864 as a Landsman aboard the S.S."Connecticut" during the Civil War. He was discharged 26 May 1865 at Fort Monroe, Virginia.

Edward F. Cunningham in Togus

Hi Earl,

I went out to Togus last week and took a photo of the gravestone for Edward Cunningham... but it turns out that it was the wrong Edward Cunningham. I checked the book when I got there and it had a listing for Edward in Section F Site 1092... but he died in 1894.

U.S. Veterans Gravesites, ca.1775-2006 says that Edward Cunningham who died in 1919 is buried in Section E Site 3720... but he wasn't listed in the book.

Sorry, but I won't be going back until there are requests by someone looking for their ancestor buried there.

Sincerely, Tim

Amen to your biography. Was looking at Zola Levitt's memorial flowers and came across your link. Now more than ever we must be bold in our faith.

Save St. Louie for Bugs Bunny

Hi Earl,

I didn't mind taking the photo of George Bailey's gravestone. I enjoyed watching Jimmy Stewart in "It's A Wonderful Life"... but I wasn't about to drive out to St. Louis, Missouri to take a photo of the gravestone of Spencer Lesley Allen (1905-1977) in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

Sincerely, Tim

I never met him. He was my grandfather Lee Willis Ames' brother, but we never had any contact with the Ames family for various reasons. Thanks for posting the marker. --rjm

Infants in Lot 296
I was at Mt Hope today. None of the infants that you requested photos for in Lot 296 were able to be found. I do not know if you guessed that they would be in the "baby lot" or if you had other information that indicated that is where they were interred. I will contact the cemetery office to find out if their records correspond to yours before I report this as a problem for each of them.

Curiously, I found all the other infant markers you requested, and all were in lots with their parents.
