RE: Thank you!
It does give us good feelings to know that those who have gone before us are remembered and honored by others. It was my pleasure to do this for you--

Thank you so much for catching the double. I know I worked on that family for a couple of hours, but not sure how I ended up putting him on twice, and both on the same day. I have deleted one. Thanks again.

John Moore
Lana,

I finally got back up to New Chapel and got pictures of the Moores' graves. John's marker is nearly gone - it's in two pieces, and the only thing I could really read was "71 years", which is how I identified it. Another few years and it'll be gone, I'm afraid.

All the best,

Paul

RE: Photo
Now this cemetery is a big mess. The person that lease the land lets cattle graze their. Alot of the headstone are scatter and I would say that over 95%are on the ground broken. I found her head stone and placed it in a safe place by her grave I think .Most cemetery that I seen like this has a fence around them to respect the one buried their . Not this one. I had to ask permission to get on it since it on private property. But i was glad to help you.Have a Happy New Year.

Lucretia English
Lana,

Just wondering if you have any information on Lucretia, daughter of Samuel & Hannah English? Don't know how I keep coming back to the Englishes when I'm not a descendant, but it seems to be happening! Lucretia married John Burdine (1844-?) on 12/26/1867 in Itawamba County, MS. Lucretia was born 10/27/1848 and supposedly died in Florida, date unknown, according to the exchange on GenForum.

Any help?

Thanx,

Paul
