Wanted to drop a line about your photo request of Nancy Freeman in the Concord Baptist Church Cemetery of Fayette county Alabama. My wife and I were unable to locate the grave of your family member, after walking the cemetery. That is why I left the request unclaimed. We also have members found in this cemetery and are very familiar with most of the graves. I also wanted to pass this web page along to you (www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~alfayett/Cem/ConcordBapt_Cem.html). This is pretty extensive on the actual graves located in the cemetery and has research dating back to around 1958. Actually the Fayette county page has many listings on the cemeteries and graves in them of Fayette county. Another look today by myself could not find your (Nancy Freeman) listed nor one for her husband.

I never really got a handle on how you and your husband are related to people in Tuscaloosa County.
I thought it was thru the Evans family that I have little information on.
Time of day and position of sun was a real problem today. When I get a chance I will replace the picture with something better.

|FRANCES LOWREY BRASHER||HOPEWELL CEMETERY|
Are you aware there are three cemeteries in Fayette Co., AL called HOPEWELL? You likely will find the grave you search for at the HOPEWELL BAPTIST, ROSEHILL CEMETERY. (NOT THE PRIMITIVE BAPT.)

|William Roha||RE: Anna Clark|
From the cemetery information, Anna is buried in lot 382 and William Rusbatch is buried in lot 380. From the cemetery maps, they are adjacent with 382 just north of 380 (to the right in my photo).

There are a lot of Cobbs in Lakenham Cemetery. Do you want all Cobbs or just Mehitable Rickard Cobb? I went to look for the grave today, but there is about a foot of snow on the ground. I went around the entire cemetery and didn't find it, but did see that there were a lot of Cobbs there.

|Jonathan Umfleet||RE: Henry R. Umfleet|
I am not directly related to Henry R Umfleet but Edward Umfleet(b 1875) is my great great grandfather and Samuel Umfleet (b 1852) is his father. They are both buried in the Balch Chapel Cemetery in Missouri

I'm sorry to be so long in replying, as we've been on vacation and just returned home. DJ & I go to cemeteries around where we live in TN and photograph the entire cemetery and then place the information on Find A Grave along with the picture of the headstone. So I am not going to be any help as whether this is your family member or not. Maybe you could contact the funeral homes in the area and be able to find out whether she is related or not. H. S. Smith Funeral Home in Caruthersville, MO is where I would start. Their number is 573-333-2300 and they are very helpful. Sorry we couldn't shed more information for you.
