correction suggestion
Hello - I just saw your correction suggestion for memorial # 79296145. She is my Great Great Grandmother and we have always heard that her true name was Elizabeth but went by Leasy (I'm the person who provided the photo on Leasy's memorial page to ahley who manages her page.) Do you have any document source data that shows Melissa as her true name? I'm hesitant to change it without having something along those lines to use as reference for the update. Much thanks for your understanding.

Emma Safford
Emma Safford #63905132 does have the same name as Emma Safford #73428759 but if you look alittle closer you'll see that their birth/death dates are different and so are their husbands names. These are not duplicates.

Pay it Forward,
Gayle Noreen Walker

Olivia, thank you for the edits for this memorial. Sorry to have taken so long. I haven't had time to do much on the computer during the holidays.

Marion Saffold
I checked New Prospect Primitive Cemetery and I only found Marion Saffold born June 4, 1872 died Mar. 22, 1934, the memorial I created in that cemetery. I did find Marion Walls Saffold born July 4, 1955 died July 7, 1955. I am sorry but I didn't find a duplicate of either memorial. Please check and let me know if there is a duplicate. Thanks!

Olivia,

If you will notice, she was transferred to me by another contributor who had her when the original contributor passed away. I am connected to her via her husband, who I am related to in 2 different ways.

I am not the one who listed Susie as her mother. I did remove her after receiving your email - "So you're going with her mother being TWO YEARS YOUNGER than she?"

I have not had the time to devote to Find A Grave as much as I'd like. There has been quite a bit of medical issues in the family, including 3 deaths, 2 within 2 weeks.

I will do my best to look some of them over, especially the ones that have been transferred to me.

Please
Please do not yell at me by writing in all caps. That was totally uncalled for and not on the spirit of collaboration - a principle upon which Find A Grave was built.

Transfers
I just transferred a couple of your Williamson's to you. I will transfer the Phillips and any other you would like. My health is not holding up and I don't need the added stress that Find A Grave has become.

Emelico Harris
Hello Mrs. Braddy,
Thank you for contacting me. I, too, consider accuracy in genealogy, very important. And, I have scrutinized this Marriage Record for Maltee & Emelico (Harris)- Yearty, before ever adding it to Findagrave. I have compared Emelico's name which is written at the very top of this record, with that which is written in the 'body' of this record. Her name at the top, is even more clear than in the body of this record, which only reinforces the only conclusion that I have ever been able to come to, concerning the spelling of her name, and that being the spelling of, 'Emelico'. Also, on a typed, court listing of this marriage, her name has the same spelling, 'Emelico'. And, for now, there are, no other official records, for her, to suggest a different spelling. So at this time, I will stay with this spelling that I have, and have had, 'Emelico', unless any other official records should come forth, that may shed a different light on the subject.

Thank you again, Mrs. Braddy for contacting me.
Have a great day.

Farquhar Columbus Adams (Williamson)
Hi Olivia,
First I want to thank you for all the many hours of research you have done!! Many of the ancestors I have found have your name as the contributor. This Farquhar Columbus Adams( Williamson)is my great great grandfather. I have read a letter that some one wrote while his 1st wife died. Lewis, the baby mentioned, was my father's grandfather. His full name was Lewis Columbus Adams he was married to Daisy Conner from the Montgomery County area as well. They had several children Lois Columbia Adams was my grandmother and she was married to Max Lawson Wilkes.

I tried to place her as second wife, even added date, aft 1908, but since I did not list the first husband, and cannont order Marion, ida keeps coming up as first wife.

Since you added Marion, and linked her to Lige, you should add their marriage date of 1893 and whd will become his first wife

They married 13 Aug 1893 in Emanuel Co., Georgia

Elijah "Lige" married Ida after Marion's death about 1908.

Thanks for making me look this up. I have added marriage dates to my tree. :) Robin
