Emelico Harris
Hello Mrs. Braddy,
Thank you for contacting me. I, too, consider accuracy in genealogy, very important. And, I have scrutinized this Marriage Record for Maltee & Emelico (Harris)- Yearty, before ever adding it to Findagrave. I have compared Emelico's name which is written at the very top of this record, with that which is written in the 'body' of this record. Her name at the top, is even more clear than in the body of this record, which only reinforces the only conclusion that I have ever been able to come to, concerning the spelling of her name, and that being the spelling of, 'Emelico'. Also, on a typed, court listing of this marriage, her name has the same spelling, 'Emelico'. And, for now, there are, no other official records, for her, to suggest a different spelling. So at this time, I will stay with this spelling that I have, and have had, 'Emelico', unless any other official records should come forth, that may shed a different light on the subject.

Thank you again, Mrs. Braddy for contacting me.
Have a great day.

I am sure you are proud of the accomplishments of your!s and your ancestors. I only wish they could read the email you sent me. I believe you should hang up your hat, if you are going to stoop to such levels.

This Farquhar Columbus Adams( Williamson)is my great great grandfather. I have read a letter that some one wrote while his 1st wife died. Lewis, the baby mentioned, was my father's grandfather. And you could learn to be a little nicer. People make mistakes.
I added material given to me by Mr. Adams who does the Taylor Co Newspaper- and yes, I now see the dates are wrong.
And if I made other mistakes- you will need to tell me nicely, and on that particular grave, or it will definitely stay like it is. I will do almost anything for folks who ask me nice- and next to nothing for folks like you.

Do you want me to transfer grave to you? I always give graves to family members. I did now know this was a relative. Just let me know and I will transfer it.

I tried to place her as second wife, even added date, aft 1908, but since I did not list the first husband, and cannont order Marion, ida keeps coming up as first wife.

Since you added Marion, and linked her to Lige, you should add their marriage date of 1893 and whd will become his first wife

They married 13 Aug 1893 in Emanuel Co., Georgia

Elijah "Lige" married Ida after Marion's death about 1908.

Thanks for making me look this up. I have added marriage dates to my tree. :) Robin

Elafair Malinda "Fairy" (nee Lindsey) Pierce
Hello, Mrs. Braddy! I got the suggested edit to the date of birth of my great-great grandmother, Elafair Malinda "Fairy" (nee Lindsey) Pierce who was born on March 17, 1859/died on May 06, 1909. Her mother, Sarah A. (nee Holder) Lindsey was not born in 1855; rather, she was born in 1830. The date I have, then, is correct. I will link the proper memorials together in order to prevent further confusion. Thank you for trying to help.

You are welcome Olivia. I'm just glad we finally found this Cemetery, we've been searching for it. I still have about a dozen more memorials to create and quite a few unmarked graves too.

Change Cemetery - Should be: Wesley UMC Cemetery
Hey Olivia,

I did suggestion edits on the 3 memorials below to put them in Wesley UMC Church Cemetery in Screven County, Sylvania, GA. I created this Cemetery in Find a Grave a couple of days ago after my husband took pictures of all the Grave Markers on 5/13/15.

The below had Grave Markers in this Cemetery.
Pearl Corbin Dent (100883532)
James Earl Dent (127558830)
Dennis Yvonne Dent Wiley (127266270)

Once you have changed these 3 to Wesley UMC Cemetery, I will post pictures of their grave markers.

Thanks, Jeannie Mock Irwin - Contributor 48402560

I have also listed this grave and it has a photo - HOWEVER, it is in a different cemetery. See grave #119467669 for Oliver Fae Davis. I am NOT related to this person, and will gladly transfer the grave to you. Since there is a photo of the grave, I am certain you have the wrong cemetery. If you want the transfer, you could delete your incorrect entry and have mine. Thanks for all your hard work!

RE: Old Herndon Cemetery
Olivia, I see that this is a duplicate. When I did a search for the cemetery it failed to find it because it wasn't exact.

You may have better luck than I at getting the two merged. I have been trying for the last hour to send a message to the admin but have not been able to. I believe admin will need to merge or delete the duplicate.

Thanks for catching this and I will continue to try to correct.

Olivia, your pictures are wonderful and I'd love to see the other one you have. None of the existing pictures are mine. I will try and reach the contributors who posted them and ask if one can be removed. I'll let you know if I am successful. Thanks for all your help.

John Mallory Land
William Thomas "Tom" PRICE
I also meant to mention that when a problem is reported on a Photo Request, there are two options for submission. It asks if the Request should be removed and the two possible answers are: "No, keep the Photo Request active." or "Yes, please review and remove this Photo Request." When I submitted this problem, I clicked on that second because (thinking I was submitting on William DEAN) I felt there was no need to keep the Photo Request active. But in that wording, it sounds like a FindAGrave staff person is going to review the request and make the final decision, and if anyone had read the problem description I submitted and then checked the memorial for William Thomas PRICE, they should have seen that it did not actually already have a grave photo - so perhaps these things are not actually reviewed by anyone, or maybe they don't check before they approve them? Anyway, I appreciate your letting me know about the mistake and resubmitting your request.
