added info....
Thank you for the info. for Anna E (HEMPHILL) Bruce.
I added the info.

I hope other people understand what I meant about all of the 'PROBLEMS ON MY ACCT.", it was so disturbing to find my husbands account had been deleted, after it was restored for me, I nearly lost it again. I have since had to put him under an assumed name, he may not get any tokens...but at least I still have it.

Have a blessed day!

Parents can be added (linked) to children, but children cannot be added to the parents.
We didn't enter the memorial, so we cannot link her to her parents.
You will have to notify the contributor that entered her and ask him to link her to her parents.
Sorry we couldn't help,
Jackie & Ralph

RE: Thank you!
William T. Roden is the father-in-law to some of my 2nd cousins. I'm not sure how related that makes us, other than not by much. His son Philip (Felix) is married to Lola Cox, my 2nd cousin.
Congrats on the baby!

RE: Lottie McRoberts
You are more than welcome, glad to do it. I'm always willing to transfer to those unrelated to me - do like to keep memorials 'in the family'.

A Dulin
I was typing in family names into google and I saw you are looking for Larry Dulin. I'm not sure if you found him or not, but he is my uncle. Just thought I'd let you know and if you have questions, feel free to contact me! He is a geneologist ( I'm sure I spelled that wrong!) so he would be the one to know if we are related!

No Westlakes in Paradise Center
I walked this cemetery and did not see any Westlakes. Maybe I just missed them. . .but I don't think there is a marker there for them.

RE: Abigail Wolverton Westlake
Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I will try to locate a picture for Abigail and post it. If I do not have one I will go get one. I Had actually gone to the cemetery to take pictures for another member. I found out a few months later that some of those same pictures were relatives of my husband. Keep it up in researching, you will find the link.

Ruth Esther Hemphill Lynch

I claimed your photo request for Ruth at Riverside Natl. Cemetery and thought I'd do some checking on William A. Lynch. Per the Dept. of Veterans Affairs, William A. Lynch was an Ens US Navy, World War II, Birth: 1 Apr 1907, Death: 5 May 1984. He is buried right next to Ruth Section 5, Site 3596.

I also verified that he doesn't have a memorial on Find A Grave. So add his memorial and I'll make sure that I get a picture of his headstone. You don't need to put in a separate photo request.

The weather is supposed to be rainy for the next few days, so I probably won't get back out to Riverside until the week after Thanksgiving. But I will get there.

Hope this information helps.

Take care,

RE: Hemphills
I just checked over my transcription of the area where George and Myrtle are buried, and there are no other Hemphills buried near them. I have only transcrbed about 1/4 of this cemetery, so there could be others there. I seem to remember asking at the office once, some months ago, not sure. I know I did find Hemphills at Inglewood Park Cemetery, but not one named Frank. If he died as a child, like you might be thinking, he may not be buried there, since it was nearly 30 years before his parents' deaths, they may have made arrangements somewhere else. There are a lot of small children buried in "Little Angels" sections of cemeteries. Parents did not need to spend as much for a tiny plot to bury a very young child. As to your question regarding the transcription on George's stone, it does not contain any other names. It is a military marker that has only his service info and dates on it. The inscription is shown on George's memorial page.

I love it when a cousin is interested in all this data too. Could you go to the edit feature of Maria's memorial, and leave that message again?

Julia Ann Heck Parsons

It seems from the photo request for Julia that the Fisher cemetery posted is a duplicate of Fisher-Shirkey Lane.

I know the caretaker of Fisher on Shirkey Lane and will see if Julia's there and get a photo. I already have photos of most of that cemetery so she may actually be in a different Fisher cemetery, if there is one.... May take a few days but I'll see what I can learn.

RE: Goldie Ferrell Transfer
No not related just would have been a shame to put one up without the other since they were on the same toombstone. I thought you would like it since it was not asked for. I am glad you are happy.
Have a great day.

RE: The Hemphills
Hi, it's me again. I just wanted to let you know that I found a couple of Hemphills at Inglewood Park Cemetery today, and since Hemphill does not seem to be a common name, I wondered if they were related to the Hemphills I found at Roosevelt. It's only about 6 miles away, not that that matters, but anyway, it is R.C. Hemphill, 1930-2008. But I am not sure about the other person whose name is on the stone. It says Juanita, 1/18/1933 but no death date, so this might be a pre-need stone and she is still alive. The SSDI does not have anyone by that name is California. Do you know who they are? I created a memorial for R.C. and added photos.
Best Regards,

RE: Thank you!!
Oops, I forgot to answer your question about the Hemphills. No, there were no other Hemphills in the area. I am transcribing this cemetery as I have time, and I am "caught up" with typing the names into memorials, from my notebook. Unless there are other Hemphills that I just have not come across yet. I may be over there either this Saturday or next. I will ask at the office.
Best Regards,

PS - let me get back to you re: Akron, Ohio. I don't even know yet the names that I would be looking for out there. Thanks again for your generous offer of help.
