According to the records Walter is buried in Detroit, funeral director J.F. Wasik. He's not in the Eloise Cemetery.

If there are no headstones, then that defeats my purpose (of obtaining genealogical information).

SUPER KUDOs to you all out there. We have the same thing going on here in RI and neighboring the states. Graves marked by numbers, finding under roads and other places should not be. WE have group of Scouts who tackled a cemetery to clean it up and they unearthed several hundred stones! they lean it up and it is the city's responsibility to keep it clean. Now a group of Volunteers, like yours, are hitting a lot of the oldest cemeteries to recover before they are no more. KEEP UP THE SUPER WORK. Again KUDOS to ALL involved - it 'taint easy but it can be done. THANK YOU to all the VOLUNTEERS.

Thank you for moving Daniel and Louisa Sheneman to Eastlawn cemetery. I have added the headstone photos and also son Orville and daughter Leafy who are buried beside them. Note the nice (artificial) flower on Louisa's grave. Leafy had one also. The photo was taken October 17, 2015.

Took care of it. That must have been a suggestion someone sent through the automated system that I let expire instead of declining. Apparently if you don't decline it it will be processed after a set amount of time. But it's fixed now. Thanks.

Hello Brenda, Would it be possible for you to let me manage the site for Richard Tobin. I believe that way I can add some information on His children especially my Great Grandfather John Tobin. Thanks for your consideration. Patrick F. Tobin

Brenda it was nice talking with you today. I have added the discharge papers of my great uncle Robert Tobin to his find a grave site ran by you. He was born in 1889, on his death certificate it says age not known. He joined the U.S.Army in 1917 at the age of 27years 4months. Too young to die. He was the forth child of John and Margaret Tobin of Battle Creek.

Thank you very much for the Aron & Jennette Marx Kaufman transfers Brenda....appreciate it. Also thank you for your volunteering to do memorials and take photos....especially for those of us who cannot make it to Michigan.

|Lawrence Adams||Jennete Marx Kaufman|
I just discovered that you have made a memorial for Jennete andher husband Aron. Jeneete is the daughter of my great grand grandparents David & Katerina Marx.
I would first thank you for taking the time to make these memorials...they are greatly appreciated.
I am attempting to gather those of the David Marx clan buried at Lafayette Temple Beth El in one location. I do not know if you are family related or not. If you are lease let me know how. If you are not I would greatly appreciate if you could transfer maintaining the memorials for them over to me.
Thank you and have a great day!

I have just added three Annears to the Gwennap Church page. I had a quick look but didn't find the one you are asking for but haven't yet searched the whole cemetery. I thought these may be of interest to you as one died in the USA

How neat! Marjory's brother James is one of my Patriots. I do not have any Loyalists from this family line. However,I have read where James had brothers who were Loyalists.

HI Brenda, I recognized your name from some of the same FB pages we belong to. You have left a memorial message for Marjory Bain Knickerbocker,my question is are you related? Her brother James W. Bain is my 5th ggf. Also,I noticed on your message board is the name Dings,are you related to the Dings family? My 6thggm is Eva Gertrude Dings m. George KIlmer. It is always nice to see familiar names!

It's been awhile since we had contact.
In regard to Armintas obit wording that you have as (to small to read) the line is ...
and her devout Christian life was most beautiful in it's character.
I may be taking a trip to Paulding in October, if I get there is there anything I can look for on the Inman line?
If you would care to, you could transfer Arminta to me.

I added a close-up photo of the inscription. Year of death is 1890, not 1893, on the inscription. I have submitted a suggestion to change the date, but just thought I'd let you know since you submitted the photo of the couple.

I could certainly do that if you would please send me the correction off the edit tab and click 'relationship information' and then plug in the memorial you wished to be connected. :)

As can be seen this stone is broken into several pieces. Ann's engraving is on the side of the stone that faces toward the base. It was too heavy for me to move so I could not get a picture of the engraving but it does appear to be readable though worn. Sorry, it's the best I could do without some help.

|john komar||John Dings|
Brenda this is a guess
Johan Adam 1742
John 1783 buried Old Hartford cemetery (Wa. Cty)
Mary McDougal 1788-1830 buried McEachron
cemetery records indicate Adam and Catharine were husband and wife and they also indicate Mary was married to John I.
I have no information about what the DAR might have to say. I do know that when I submitted my wife's application we found errors in what had been submitted by others. But what we have on Find a grave is just what is on the tombstone or in cemetery records.
