|Steve Atcheson||J. C. Aday|
Hello. Please kindly transfer management of J.C. Aday's memorial page to me. J.C. Aday was my 2nd cousin, the son of Mildred Frost Manning, my great aunt. I would like to add some history and perhaps pictures to his memorial. Thanks in advance. Steve Atcheson Chickamauga, Georgia 706-375-8513 P.S. He was never married and has no children or living siblings, only a few cousins like myself. I only live about 30 miles from the cemetery that my cousin is buried in.

|Mike Gahagan||RE: Andrew Jackson Gahagan|
I can find no way to link a parent to a child only child to parent. You can keep the sight, I just want him linked to his parents. Part of his obit here is as follows; News has been received in Marshall of the death in Chattanooga, Tenn., of Captain A. J. Gahagan, a native of Madison County. Captain Gahagan, who made his home in Chattanooga for the past 68 years, had come to be one of the leading citizens of that city. He died there Sunday, it was learned here, at the age of 85 years.
Captain Gahagan was born in Madison county, North Carolina, Feb. 23, 1844. His father, George Washington Gahagan, was a native of Edgefield district, South Carolina and was born June 5, 1802. His mother's maiden name was Mary West, and she was born in Buncombe county, North Carolina, in 1821.
This same info is in several papers and in the "History of East Tennessee"; if it is proof of the family connection you are looking for.

I manage all the others, I listed children to parents, I don't see a way to link the children, I will try and find how. Like I said I am just learning how to link.

I am new at this how do I list him as a son. He is my family, I would not remove anything, may add. He was born on the Laurel River in Madison County. He was married Twice. I will link his wife and children an some point, working on a lot of family. You can go to the Gahagan Cemetery (Belva) on find a grave, Madison County and see his family here.

Once again, please delete this incorrect picture. Our Homecoming is Sunday June 9th and your incorrect church confuses people as it looks a little like the entrance church to CR 287 off New Hwy 68 Mt. Zion Rd. And when people see your church with no one there, the leave. We need $2000 a year for mowing alone and your picture takes away what little donations we get. Please delete. Joyce K

Wow, I wish I could help. John is a distant relative but I was not aware that he was called to preach. Seems that I heard one of his brothers was a reverend. I will keep my eyes peeled, if I find anything I will surely contact you.
Thank you for updating his memorial.
