J M Dowell obituary jpg
Hello,

Margie I tried to click on the obituary for my g-g-grandfather James M Dowell that you posted but it will not open due to an error.

Is it possible to re upload that picture or to send me a copy to view? I would be very grateful.

Thank you,

Trevor Turnbull

No I am not related. Entered from cemetery info then Mr Donohoo takes a lot of photos in that area so the memorials are complete. If you are related will transfer or post obits/bios you may have.

Hello,
I am still working on that, but probably not. I Know that I have some Diffenderfer/diffenderffer's. Odds are that they spelling was close so I posted it.
I would be happy to delete it if you don't want it up.
Sorry,
Kathie

Sorry it's taken so long to respond. I do have Maria's maiden name listed as Morrow. That's from my grandmother Dorothy Waybright Briney who looks so much like Maria is astounding. I do have photos of some of them. Happy hunting.

Hi Margie,

I will definitely try that. I can't find anything more on ancestry.com. They are hard to track down, I'm stumped on my Dad's side as well.
Thank you so much for the suggestions. I'm going to check it out right now. Have a wonderful day!

Thanks again
Belinda

Hi Margie,
Thank you for the all the information. I didn't have Charles.I have a total of ten children now with him. Is that how many you have? And I would love for you to send me what you have. I really appreciate the help. The Bryant side is proving to be very hard to find information on my 3rd Great Grandfather and before him. I'm completely stumped!
Oh well I keep searching tho.
Thank You so much.

RE: Rosa Bell Russell (married William Henry Bryant) 1881-1869
I investegated further and from what I can gather she was married to Armstead Russell at the age of 15. I have her as Rosa B Russell in a 1900 Census living with William Henry Bryants parents.I have yet to find if Armstead and she divorced or he passed away. I also find that she was married to Doss Lockhart by 1930 census. Hope this helps.

I got the information on Ancestry.com. From the Indiana Marriage Collection 1800-1941. It says Henry Bryant Rosa Russell married July 3, 1901 Washington Co. Ind.

RE: Mclaren's in Michigan
Canadian census 1881 shows James McLaren and family in Euphemia, Bothwell, Ontario Canada. It shows all children born in Canada, but I know my greatgrandmother Eliza was born in Brock Way Michigan. I have a copy of handwritten note by her to get Social Security. Let me know if you find out more. Thanks

RE: Mclaren's in Michigan
Eliza's father was James McLaren..he is buried in S Dakota where they settled from Michigan. On James' death certificate it lists his father as Duncan McLaren and mother Mary McKinley. I know nothing other than the elder McLarens were born in Scotland. James was born in Ontario. If you can have more info, would love to hear it.

James McLarens family is listed on a Canadian census..some of their children were born in the US, some in Canada, all I can figure out is they moved back and forth.

Margie--Yes, I'd like to see more information about Bessie, your grandmother. She was a first cousin of my grandfather Lloyd E. Kenney. We have information on his other cousins, but not much about Bessie's family. My father is hoping to find out the name of his father's first wife (they lived in California). He later moved to Grand Island and married my grandmother.
