Aletha Graham, Creveling Cemetery
Thank you for posting the tombstone photo of my wife's gg grandmother. Always great to get a verification of pertinent dates. Now if I can only find Aletha's mother and father, John and Elizabeth Tucker. I've got birth dates and other family information but they remain an enigma. They were first cousins. Their fathers were brothers. That was not unusual back then but due to the derth of information, I think it was a problem within the Tucker family. Thanks again and good luck in your ongoing research.

Mazz
Mcintosh Cemetery - Crescent, Iowa
Hello,

I looked up this cemetery to see just where it was and discovered it's pretty much inaccessible so getting to it to take photos is a no go for me. But I did find this website which lists many of the names and dates if this information will help you with your genealogy research.

http://iagenweb.org/pottawattamie/cem-mcintosh.htm

Sorry I can't get to it but it's a very long uphill hike through brush and bramble which I'm not able to.

Re : Robert Clark
Hi Dalene, I see where you left flowers on Robert Clark's memorial? Do you happen to know the grave location or would you be able to take a grave picture for the memorial? I am doing a distant part of my tree and trying to add photos. The office refused info to a photo volunteer, but should give information to friends.

RE: ID Military in Westlawn-Hillcrest
Thank you for the name. We will add him/her to our list so (s)he will have a flag placed on the grave for Memorial Day. It is not required they be on Find A Grave, just served in the military, peace or war time and be buried at Westlawn-Hillcrest.
Please let others know of this project sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge #326. The more people that know about it, the more complete our list will be. We know many that served in the military have no indication of their service on their grave.
Thanks again,
Carl and Carolyn Diamond

RE: Benjamin Eagles
I know it is hard to believe people even existed when there is no headstone. Maybe you can try to get death certificates or church records of the burials. Good Luck!

Mary Clanton's Grave Stone
Hello-
I took a picture of the grave stone for Mary Clanton in the St. Charles Cemetery in St. Charles, IA. However, the dates you list do not match the dates on the stone. The dates on the stone are: 1896 to 1948. I hesitate to post it in case it is the wrong one. I would be happy to send it to you and you can decide if you would like to post it.
Thanks-
Penny Karrer

curious as to entry
I am curious as to why you left a memorial on the baby grave of my grandfather's baby brother. Are you related in some way? If so, I'd love to converse with you about our connections. I am the granddaughter of Fred Moore....Phyllis Harris DePoy. I graduated Wincheswter High School in 1949 and am the daughter of John P. Harris....phd

Clarence Davis
Thank you so much for transferring Uncle Clarence's memorial to me. He drowned in the Niobrara River when he was 12 and my father was 7 so it feels good to have him near. I am related to the William's family thru Gilbert (my great grandfather) then to Edgar then to Jeremiah and finally to John Williams my 4th great grandfather. Plus I am double related to some of the Williams who married into my Carr family. And no, I don't know the Coopers from Garden County, Nebraska, sorry.

Yes, the cemetery superintendent was pretty surprised at how many graves did not have markers. You're very welcome.

Regarding William C. McIntosh born Jan. 29, 1905
Sarah Ann Bay's husband was William C. McIntosh who was born May 16, 1856 and died April 16, 1907. This is from some McIntosh genealogy I have been working on. My husband's grandmother was a McIntosh.

RE: William Gouger
Both memorials have correct information for William Gouger who died in 1847. They just need to be combined as one memorial. Don't remove please. I came across this as I was adding my grandparents and family from West Fayette to the records. My great great grandmother was Jane Gouger Lerch m. to Benjamin Lerch. I am sure somewhere there is a connection. Would have to look at the family tree. Any questions please let me know.

Thanks for transferring my grandfather to me. We probably are not related as my grandfather's father was raised by a Davis but was born a Brandis. So we are actually not related to any Davis families in the Keya Paha County area. Thanks so much for letting me have him. Leana

Linda Campbell
Scarborough & Stradling Connection
Hi Dalene, Just found this posting late last night (thought I had an epiphany at 2:00 AM) when I ran across ancestors listed in Ronaldson's Cemetery. However, on closer examination from searching articles, it appears my Stradling and Scarborough connections could not have been buried there as they were way before the first burial on 2 June 1827. My Thomas Stradling died 1764 in Newtown or New Jersey one record we found stated. We are frustrated with our search as we spend many hours looking for Thomas and his wife Lydia Doane Stradling as well as the Scarborough ties. Do you have any insight as to where this info came from with your searches? I have sent a public message to the named party "Jacques" who is listed as having placed these data on 30 June 2014.
