Mom didn't say anything about any other Frager's but she goes with me when I go hunting, and she was touched to see Stella's grave. I believe they were neighbors of theirs when she was growing up, and she shared that information with me. There were several other's in the cemetery there that she knew. So she enjoyed that hunt.

You are quite welcome for all the photos. Yes it was muddy. I just don't think that cemetery dries out. The first time we went (in Feb) it was really wet. We love doing it though. My husband and I actually either got our first sunburn or windburn of the year yesterday it was GORGEOUS out. :) Have to wait now for a new collection of names to get back from the cemetery before we can go do it again.

Daniel Augustus Williams
I am sorry to report that I was unable to find Daniel Augustus Williams's marker. I walked the cemetery twice and looked at all the markers. Do you happen to have a plot number? This cemetery has broken and missing headstones. Let me know if you have any other information.

The cemetery is covered in snow right now. I will try to stop by when it melts. Feel free to remind me if I forget.

You are quite welcome, I'm just sorry we couldn't get more of the mud off. The cemetery was like walking through a marsh. Some of the stones we put on our hold list, because the water just kept washing into the area we kept cleaning.

We did NOT deface the top of the headstone, it was like that when we went to take the picture. There were many others that were cleaned like that (we have been there before). .... Mike

Jacob Altman's wife's maiden name was "Susan Weimer". Her obituary follows:
Mrs. Susan Altman, a pioneer lady of this county died at her home, 807 South Blanchard street about 5 o'clock Sunday morning, of erysipelas. Mrs. Altman was eighty-four years of age and has lived in this county since she was fifteen years of age, coming to this county with her husband Jacob Altman, now deceased.
They came for Pickaway county, Ohio, and settled on a farm in Marion township. She has lived in the by for twenty years. The deceased was the mother of eight children, five of whom are still living. They are Mrs. W. A. Spaythe, Mrs. George Elsea, Mrs. John Baymiller, Mrs. W. T. Platt, Nelson Altman, of Marion township and George Altman, deceased.
The funeral will be held at Bethlehem church at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning, the cortage (sic) leaving the late home at 9 o'clock, and interment will take place in Alspach cemetery. The pallbearers will consist of the oldest grandson in each family. Rev. Crabbs will conduct the services. THE MORNING REPUBLICAN obituary, Findlay, Oh., Tue., 5 Jan. 1904 A.D.

Jacob Altman's grandfather was Johann Peter Altman (1738/39-?). Johann Peter Altman (1738/39) had a first cousin whose name was also Johann Peter Altman (1735-1800). I am a descendant of Johann Peter Altman (1735-1800).
