Thank you Linda for taking the time to go to the cemetery and take this picture. I am trying to keep an ongoing file of the families and locating each grave headstone gives me more information. Thank you so much!

SORRY! I just put pictures on that are asked for. I'm NOT favoring anyone. I didn't see yours until you pointed it out so I have taken my cemetery stone picture off his. If you are having trouble with someone you should write to the founders of Find A Grave NOT ME.

Robert Ray (Vandalia Cemetery)
Linda -

Thanks so very much for publishing the picture of the headstone of my great great grandfather, Robert Ray. When I found the burial site it didn't have a headstone, so I had one installed. Of course, took pictures of it before I left (I live north of Sacramento). My computer crashed and in the process of resurrecting all my files, I have lost the pictures I took of Vandalia Cemetery and the headstone. So I am hugely appreciative of your contribution - it certainly has saved me a trip to Tulare County from Placer County! Thanks very, very much.

RE: Masonic Cemetery vs City Cemetery
Dear Linda,
I'm really sorry, and I don't wish to drag things out, nor to get you mad, but your note back is a bit unclear, so could you see what I've added into the body of the note and maybe re-comment ?

RE: Masonic Cemetery vs City Cemetery
We were vacationing in Alaska but live in California. No help here in finding anything. No help on finding additional info about this Alfred? Is that what you meant? Do you ever look through "Familysearch" ? Always a wealth of information. Yes, I do frequently, and try to use that info on F-a-G memorials as much as possible, whether for ones that I manage or if/when I make a suggestion. But,,,, are you asking me so that I need to look on Familysearch to add more info to his memorial? Alfred's memorial is not the only one. There are a whole bunch that are in both cemeteries. Alfred's is not the only Bryant grave in those cemeteries ? Really?? If so, wonderful!! and that's great, but then why did you then only capture his? What made his so unique ? Thanks for the heads up. I'm really really sorry to be so dense, but heads up about what???? Linda

RE: Masonic Cemetery vs City Cemetery
Hi Linda,
I think as long as Alfred's F-a-G memorial is as accurate as it can be, then we all win. Resolving which cemetery the memorial is assigned to isn't a huge deal to my viewpoint, but the fact that Mr. Waite deleted his earlier one to reduce confusion over duplicates is a very congenial gesture.

So, if you'd be gracious enough to consider stating, in the notes, something like that 'this memorial replaces' his earlier one, I think that'd go along way to recognize his contribution and keep up the F-a-G collaborative spirit.

Now relatedly, since I came on this memorial while trying to track NJ Bryant's in Alaska, about the individual Alfred himself, do you know of his lineage? I'd be grateful to tie him to the family if you're able to help that end of things.
Thanks! Yours, Jeff

RE: Rex Craig and Rex Peterson
Where he is is in a marble mausoleum. it is a Niche wall. He could be there as he is in the records. You notice that William is right above him. One could be a memorial. Good luck in your search.

No, just post your request and I will try to do it, but probably someone will beat me too it. But it will get done.

No, once I post a photo, I delete them. This, if I remember right, is a niche. Has several names on the slate. If you ask for a photo request, I might see it but generally, there is someone who beats me too it. It will get filled.
