RE: James McBride - Parents?
How have you been Jack? I hope very well.
I hunted all thru my records = I do not have a wife for my James. All of my McBrides are buried in Harmony incl A William & Nancy. The only one item I found with the name "Rhoda" connected to it is Mem 61878299 for 2 yr and 1 mo old boy named Charles and it says he was the son of
James and Rhoda McBride and he died Feb 12 1882 - I looked at your memorials and did not see this
little boy connected to them.

Can you send me proof that James Malcolm is the rightful heir ? I have no middle name for my James. I just question that James William and Nancy are all at Harmony and Malcolm is at Prairie. Mcbride family has a lot of James and
Williams What if we both de-link our James
from the parents until someone can prove to us
if one or other or maybe neither is rightful son?

I sort of missed these debates with you.

Thomas Watt father of William Watt
According to his estate papers, will, and court records, Thomas Watt (father of William Watt) died Sept 21, 1837, not 1838. Thomas' wife Mary was probably dead by the time Thomas married his 2nd wife in 1825, but no death date is known for Mary.

William Watt 41260270
His marriage to Elizabeth Hawk is found in "Ohio Marriages, 1800-1958" at

His parents married in what is now Perry Co, Pa. I don't have a certificate, but I have a copy of the appropriate page of the minister's records.

Thank you Jack. Because of the GPS cordinates you supplied me with, I was able to verify the idenity of the monuments.

Thomas Critchlow & Family
Thomas was my great, great grandfather. His first wife, Mary Morris did die as a result of childbirth according to her death certificate. Do you know where Thomas is buried?

RE: A. G. Potter Photo - Thanks
Hi Jack. I've uploaded the photo of Brian Potter's grave. The headstone shot is barely readable - unfortunately the colour of the stone makes it very difficult to photograph. If you need help deciphering it then please let me know; zooming in might be useful.
Kind regards,

RE: A. G. Potter Photo - Thanks
Hi Jack.

I've located the grave of Brian John Potter - it's at the other cemetery as I suspected. I have a photograph however there's no point me uploading it to the wrong cemetery.

You'll need to delete the entry under Tamworth General Cemetery and create a new one under Evergreen Memorial Park (Oxley Highway Tamworth). It's quite a large cemetery however the Find A Grave site does not have it indexed (there are only three user-created entries). When you've relocated Brian to the right place I'll upload the photo.

I'll have to revisit Tamworth General Cemetery to continue my search for Jean.

Kind regards,

Hi Jack. You've also requested the graves of Brian and Jean Potter. I've been unable to locate them. Are you able to confirm they are interred at Tamworth General Cemetery or the newer Lincoln Grove Memorial Gardens which is also in Tamworth?

Kind regards,

You are quite welcome, glad to be of help. A couple friends and I were allowed into the mausoleum to photograph the crypts, and I was trying to resolve a few names that were listed that we did not find in the mausoleum, which is why I was searching for information on them. Good luck with finding James!

RE: Emma J. Morley Photo - Thanks
You are very welcome. I'm sorry my reflection is in the cemetery title. In case you didn't know, the cemetery is on Union Church Road. The church is long gone, but the cemetery remains and is kept in good condition.

Hi Jack,
I think I have found who you were looking for but they are buried in Fairview Cemetery instead of Oakwood, both in Denison. I will try to find their graves.

RE: Oella (Liggett) Scott Photo - Thanks
My pleasure. My husband and I flew in from Nebraska, but I made a lot of phone calls to get the right person with the key. We will go out and do retakes AGAIN because a lot of them are very hard to get good pictures. I will let my husband and the other two women that took pictures with us that it is appreciated.

RE: James Daugherty Photo - Thanks
My daughter and I hurried out to the cemetery to take photos because we had an unusually cloudy day - good for picture taking without shadows! Unfortunately, since it had rained heavily the night before, some of the stones were darkened with moisture and still wet. When I get back out there sometime on a dry, sunny day, I will retake that photo so there won't be a shadow across his grave stone.

RE: Posts on Wrong FaG Memorial
I am sorry, I got confused because the dates matched. I did not see any other Catherine Yard while I visited the cemetery, other that the one I posted pictures for. The section with the Yard family only had a few stones the rest was open. Again,I am very sorry. I wish you luck. :)

Hi Jack-

His obit shows his date of birth as February 4. I'd go with the stone if I were you. I hit send before looking closely at the stone--never a good idea.
