Is it possible that Peter's last name is actually Odenthal? I found a badly-degraded stone near a Brothers family plot bearing this name...

Called up to El Camino in Sorrento Valley to see if Helen was there (just in case), but she isn't. I'm going to Cypress View today to do an in-depth search of the north building so I'll keep an eye out.

Then chances are they lost her card and don't know where she is located within their facility. I'll make a note and keep an eye out for her name during future visits =)

|Tammy Robertson||Lamar McDonald|
I was at the Childersburg Cemetery today and I found the marker for Lamar McDonald. I will be adding it to the memorial in a day or two. I have to reduce the size of the photos so it takes a little time. If you would like a larger copy please let me know.

You're welcome. I did try to interpret the inscription at the bottom on Samuel's stone, but all I could make out was the first word (either keep or weep). I went back this morning as I had another photo to take in Ridge Cem. and looked at it again to see if I could make it out better, but it's just too faded for these old eyes. Even cropping it off the picture/enlarging it didn't help me. So sorry!

|Leah P||Albia Nafe|
There is also an Ira Nafe buried right next to her. If you would like to make a memorial for him, I will be glad to post the picture of his stone. It just reads Ira Nafe 1874 - 1944 . If you want me to make the memorial, I will do that also. Let me know please.

You are welcome. It drives me crazy when I can't find a particular headstone in a cemetery. With the Adams mystery solved, I'm wondering what happened to your F.J. Morris. Let me know if I can be of any more assistance.

|Glen Marquis||Verda Crates Adams & Ernest Adams|
I found Verda M. (Ashbaugh) Crates Adams in the Pike Run Cemetery in Allen County, Ohio. I added a memorial for her first husband, Otto Crates. The headstone has an inscription "Married to Ernest Adams 1985-1994".
I found Ernest Adams (1904-1995) buried in Truro Cemetery in Putnam County, Ohio. The memorial for Ernest Adams in Pike Run is a duplicate. I will send a correction for this.

For your photo request I was searching for Verda and Ernest Adams in Pike Run Cemetery in Allen County, Ohio, but I didn't find them. I'm not sure if I missed them or what. I found some other Adams there, and I posted memorials and photos.

|SuzyMish||RE: Peter Odendahl (and everyone)|
I will keep looking. I suggested removal of the request because the office provided the official search result. But as they mentioned, many of their records were destroyed in a fire. If the request stayed up and volunteers continued to inquire, we may be regarded as pests and I wouldn't want that. (A cemetery in nearby Osceola only works with family, for this reason.)
So they're not saying these folks are not buried here, they simply mean they have no record of it... So I'll keep looking. If you want to re-post the requests, just attach a note that contributors should NOT inquire again at the office.
I checked South Bend area Genealogical society's burial records online index, and there's a Fred G. Seifert in vol 3 (includes: Vol. 3 - Penn Township Part 2 - Fairview-partial, Pleasant Valley, Hebrew Orthodox, Eutzler-Hollingshead, Byrkit, Ferrisville Cemeteries.)

|Glen Marquis||RE: Ethel Morris|
The next time I'm in Middle Creek Cemetery, I'll look for Ethel's husband. If he had been next to her, I would have taken a photo of his headstone. But I'll look next time I go out there.
