I'm sorry. I deleted the memorial after I got the first message. I thought it was just the marker for the family and not a person. Not sure I can get it back now.

I am sorry, but Alexander, son of Ella Mabel Foster McCrady, and David Holmes McCrady, is not on Find A Grave, so therefore, I can't link him to her. It is unknown where he is buried.

|Liz Freeman||Mrs. J. R. McElroy|
You sent me an edit message to change the maiden name of Mrs. J. R. McElroy from Bannister to Bench.
I worked extensively on Cosgrove Cemetery from the surveys that were made of Cosgrove over the years. The surveys indicate she was a Bannister.
I will consider changing the maiden name to Bench if you can provide me with further information; right now the surveys are the only documents I have seen indicating a maiden name.
If you say her maiden name was Bench, then do you have her given name; from what source, etc.

Sorry, I can't help you very much. I have taken photographs of most of the cemeteries in Sequoyah County and have added them to findagrave. Of course, there are some cemeteries I haven't done yet and I may have missed their tombstones if they had one. Have you typed in "Cemeteries of Sequoyah County Oklahoma" on the web. Sometimes you can check out the lists of names that people have added for each cemetery.

BUT IT DOES NOT SHOW A WOMAN BURIED BY
HIM. I CAN'T FIND WHERE HE WAS MARRIED
AFTER IVA DIED. WOULD YOU KNOW HIS LAST
IVA WAS A COUSIN TO ME AND SOME OF THE
FAMILY SAID THAT HE WAS BURIED BY HER,
BUT I DON'T KNOW FOR SURE.
THANKS FOR THE INFO.

Thank you. I thought I had accidently placed her in the wrong cemetery in Bluejacket, but wasn't sure how to correct the matter. I know my great grandmother Gertrude Masters is also buried in the cemetery where Mary Catherine Spurgin is buried, but have been unable to locate a marker or who might have the cemetery records. She died 1905.
