RE: William Fredrick
Don't worry about age: hitting the wrong button or hitting two at same time or the PC not responding, etc are all sources of errors.
When I searched Findagrave (via for anyone born 1000 AD and died 1500 (i.e. impossible dates) I got 1.2 MILLION results....!
It seems Findagrave's program completed half-entered dates, which therefore are wrong.
Birthdates and death dates were switched, etc etc.
I "only" corrected some 21,000 names, dates, places, etc so far....
I could spend the rest of my life doing this.
Have a nice day.

transfer - Keep Holloman
Oh thank you so very much! I do wt you to have the Holloman family as that does belong to you for sure! You have done lots of work! I am just pleased that you will transfer Nancy Helen Bruffey to me as I have that side of the equation! I would be most pleased to share any of my Bruffey family information as I have gathered many over the years, had help from a cousin who goes to the Records in Washington DC as she lives near there in Virginia, what a help she has been. We are all in this together and working as a team is the only way to go when we are dealing with folks who lived over 200 years ago!

Robert Cashman Bruffey
I just heard from Kelly Hansen and she suggested I contact you about the mistake of Robert Cashman Bruffey not being a doctor.

Robert Cashman is my 3rd great granduncle, his brother Mark James is my 3rd great grandfather.
Perhaps it would be easier if you too are not related to transfer his memorial to me so that I can write his biography. My Find A Grave is ID #47357320.

It says that Robert run of to MS with Louisa baby sister Elizabeth "family lore" if you could help me get this part of Robert and Louise or Elizabeth the sisters family un raveled it would be great. I have a Hannah Lavina Lee "" md to Milton md 2nd to a Green 142697900, look and see if you think this is correct. Luteen

Hi Marilyn... I am sorry I have not responded sooner. I do kno have any marriage dates for them. All I know is john Otis and his first wife Bessie Bolander divorced in the early 1930's. They had a daughter who is still living at 88 years old today. I will try to see if she has any idea. I know she kept in touch with John Otis, her whole life. I will let you know when I talk to her.

Wrong death date listed
Alma Eliza Watson was my grandmother. Her date of death should be October 24, 1922 as shown on her tombstone not November 24, 1922 as shown on the Find a grave page submitted by you.

RE: George Washington Armstrong Lewis
GWA Lewis was my 2nd great-grandfather. His mother was Mariah Ann A. (Smithart) Williams Lewis (1828-1904). Mariah's parents were John and Melinda (Cochran) Smithart. John and Melinda both appear to have died prior to 1850, probably in Warren Co., MS. I do not know who John's parents were. Melinda's father was Jonathan Cochran. I have never known the origin of "Armstrong."

Thank you, Marilyn so very much for this transfer. Believe me, I fully understand about holding own to those near and dear to your heart. I have a very hard time getting local genealogists to understand this. They add memorials of people they never knew, aren't closely related to and call themselves "volunteers". They don't know about our connections, the stories passed down and our love for those who came before in our families. And there's no way apparently to get them to comprehend this. I do. Thank you so much for the transfer of my Great Grandfather's sister.

I appreciate your generosity because I DO understand.

Warmest Regards,
