Not sure what is going on here, but your death information on the above memorial could not be more wrong! She died yesterday and nowhere near you have listed. I have submitted edits and an obituary. Please update the memorial and include the obit in the biography section.
Thanks very much,
Mike

RE: source for d/o Andrew and Mary Hyde
Hi Patty!
Were you able to find the source for the note that Catherine 'Katie' Hyde Shipley, Find A Grave Memorial# 47829063, was d/o of Andrew and Mary Wilkin Hyde please? I have the same information but really need a source cite.
Thanks! Traci trzgenealogy@gmail.com.

One more for George Hicks
Hi Again!

If you are not aware of this, you can download the images of George Hicks and Susan Hartley marriage records at this county web-site:

http://www.hccoky.org/eSearch/User/Login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2feSearch%2fLandRecords%2fprotected%2fSrchQuickName.aspx

log in as a guest, and enter his last and first and names, then click on Search - Final Results and you'll see their marriage records as the first two entries on the page. The first one is the county register and the second one is the marriage document and a legal document from Susan's guardian.

Patty,

I hope this is good news if you are related to George Hicks. Your memorial has him buried in Vine Grove Cemetery. He is actually buried in the nearby Forks of Otter Creek Cemetery. I photographed his headstone a few years ago and placed it on a memorial that someone else had created, #16704825. You may want to consider deleting your memorial.

RE: source for d/o Andrew and Mary Hyde
Sorry Patty! I thought my question was on her page. I was referring to Cathering 'Katie' Hyde Shipley, Find A Grave Memorial# 47829063.
Thanks!

I have found no record of her being buried in the Old Cadiz Cemetary or Cadiz Union Cemetary. I do know where her husband is buried and will search around his stone in the near future.

RE: Source?
I'm sorry, Patty, I think I'm confused.
I assumed when I received your message yesterday that it was in response to another contributor who has March J and Opal S (Monks) Richey's grave as being located in Hopewell Cemetery, when it's actually located in Bunceton Masonic Cemetery, and who I sent a message alerting them to the error.
Who was your first message in reference to? I see that you have the memorials for both of my great-grandparents in Bunceton Masonic Cemetery (Harry Harwood and Stella nee' Burnside Richey). Are you also related to them?

RE: Source?
Hi, Patty;

I'm not certain what you're trying to say. Hopewell Cemetery is not listed as a Bunceton cemetery, and the grave is most assuredly located in the Masonic Cemetery in Bunceton (also known as Bunceton Masonic Cemetery).
I personally recall that this grave is in the Masonic Cemetery, and I checked my files to make sure. The photo which I took of Marsh J. and Opal Monks Richey's headstone is sequential with and dated the same date as all the other photos which I took at the Bunceton Masonic Cemetery.

RE: Source?
Hi, Patty;

The grave is in Bunceton, at the Bunceton Masonic Cemetery. Hopewell cemetery is actually located closer to Tipton. I have relatives in both cemeteries.

RE: Mabel Ramsey
Hi Patty, Mabel is a cousin of mine. If you or any of your group aren't related and you want to transfer Mabel to me that would be fine. Or if you want to keep her I can always add info if it becomes available by way of an edit.
Thanks
Randy

Ethel Devers Cooper
I had added the obit for Ethel and I want to be sure you approve. If you do want it, would you rather I retype it and send it to you via edits?
I also have a little newspaper article written by Ethel in 1974. My Aunt gave it to me many years ago. The notes written on it were added by her.
I will add that to photos for you to view so you can let me know if you want it to remain on the memorial.
Please let me know if you want them removed.
Are you related to Ethel? She was my grandmother's cousin. I remember my Mom and Auntie speaking of her, among so many others, but I never had the pleasure of meeting her.

Honoring those who have gone before
Hey You
What is up AZ Patty!

Been thinking about you. You need to hit me up and we can chat.

A Find A Grave friend is raving about getting to meet face to face with her first Find A Grave person ... crushing because I thought I WAS her first. Don't you just hate being told you aren't the first, even when she met me before this weekend? LOL

It's all good, FYI, you do know you're my first Find A Grave peep I got to meet in real life, even though she and I have been talking for 15 years. I had to go to IL meet her and you were here in CA.

Seriously, we do need to visit more often.

Go to http://www.pagenweb.org/~fayette/

There are plenty of obits and cemetery photos. If you have any problems navigating around on that site, let me know and I'll be glad to help. It is a great source for searching ancestors in Fayette County.

Thomas Harned
Mary Hartley
Patty, I found a book which had Mary Hartley, her parents and Mary's brothers and sisters.
Willa Mac (Duncan) Coulter, Some Families of Revolutionary War Patriots from Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Kentucky; Gateway Press, Inc. Baltimore, 1993.
You might check your local library and ask them to get it on interlibrary loan. It may be at Tempe at the LDS Family History Library. You can also see what I gleaned from it by going to:
www.harneds.org
Scroll down left hand column ant click on FAMILY DATA; choose alphabetical range to include Hartley and continue until you see John Hartley 1755 and click on his name.
I am asking a favor from you. Victor Claude Harned born 7 Sep 1902, died 1 May 1979 in Phoenix, Maricopa, AZ. Could you see if you can find where he is buried?
Tom Harned
