Thanks so much for your help here. I appreciate all you did for me.
Sounds like the cemetery project you are working on is a good idea. Wish sometimes I could get tombstones taken care of that need some TLC. I can't believe that the veterans stones go unattended.

Thank you so much for the picture!! I think I told you he was my Uncle? His sister, Betty, was my mother. I was at his funeral, but of course, the headstone wasn't there yet, so I've never got to see it. Also, understandably, it was a very sad time, so I couldn't remember exactly where he was buried, and I live in Montana, so I haven't been able to return to Texas since then. This in invaluable to me. Thank you again!

Thank you for your kind words. But there is no need to thank me as it is my honor to sponser Scott's memorial page. It is the least we can do for our service men and women and their families. My husband served in Vietnam and we respect all veterans and their families. May Scott always be in the hearts of many as he is in ours. Blessings to you and your family. Sent with much respect.

Frederica Wyatt, a friend of J.C.'s showed me where his grave was and I took several pictures. I could only post one of them, since they are now limiting the pics to five... If you want a close up of the stone, I can email it to you. Since you are interested in abandoned cemeteries...we are trying to stir up interest in the old Pontotoc Cemetery in Burnet/Llano area...thought it might be something you might be interested in.
