Military Medal
Good morning Linda: I don't know if you are somehow related to a Walter M. Crandall who is deceased, but there is his Bronze Military Medal and Certificate posted on Ebay for sale. If you are not related, but know someone who is, would you be able to let that person know of this posting on Ebay? It would be wonderful to find a "home" for this medal for a living descendant.

Thank you for any assistance that you can provide.

Wilhelmina Stewart
Linda, were you the person that updated Wilhelmina's record this year? I am brand new to find a grave.com signing up just today, but have been on the site many times. Wilhelmina is my aunt that died before my own mother was born. I was so tickled to see the update on her record. Did you get the information from the newspaper article that was attached earlier? I would love to have more information about her family etc, if you have any. My own mother passed away 50 years ago, and her family of siblings passed away within a few years after that, so I am still looking for any information I can find on the siblings and the Grandma and Grandpa that raised Wilhelmina for a short time in What Cheer Iowa. Wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed your information and how much it means to me. Thank you!

Crandall-Pratt family
Hi Linda,
My name is Mandy Pratt - Maxine Crandall was my grandfather's little sister. I only met her once, when she came to visit my grandpa Wayman in Sikeston, Missouri. I was quite young, but it was obvious that she was a sweet & special lady to my grandpa. I noticed you had submitted her entry, so I am curious how you are related to her (probably by marriage)? You & I may not be related, of course. I am acquainted with her sons, Paul & Mike (my father Harry knows them better). Anyway, I noticed her father's name was misspelled (it's O'Brien), but that's not why I'm sending this. Just wanted to say a friendly hello and introduce myself. I'm an animal rescue & cat enthusiast too!
Happy New Year!
-Mandy

Della Louisa Jenkins Crandall
I was wondering if you could help me with any information and pictures of Della Louisa Jenkins Crandall. This is my 5th Great Aunt as she is my 4th Great Grandpa John and Great Grandma Rozilla Jenkins' daughter. I know nothing or have any pictures of her. If you could see fit to send me some pictures and a copy of her death records via email that would be wonderful. Thank you so much for what help you can give me.

She married George Thomas Kelly SR, after he passed away she married Walter Holmberg. If you need further assistance finding out info on her please feel free to let me know!
Thank you!

Rawsons
I'd like to talk about the ancestors of Emma Marina Crandall. Her father Zenus Rawson's memorial gives parents and I have another theory. Rachel (Colman) Rawson had a brother named Zenus who died in Heath MA in 1805. Could Zenus have been the child of Rachel and Elias Rawson from central New York State?

Finley Crandall
Linda,

Thank you so much for your work in adding all the graves to this website. I thought maybe we were related through the Finley side but I see now that you added Finley Crandall because of your work on the Crandall family.

As I have many cats and have bottle fed successfully three kitten that now live with me as adult cats, it seemed like we might have a connection.

Thank you again.

Abner Crandall 1762 REV War Vet.
Dear Linda,
Abner is my 5th Great Grandfather. I am a Son Of Am.
Rev War Vet. ( Abner).
I contacted the Hoosick Falls N.Y. Historical Society. They gave me the site where he and his wife Mary and some other relatives , buried on their farm. They had sold the property and the owners plowed the site over by mistake. I visited the site on the hill and found i believe to be Amy Ellis wife of Abners son Abner. So, I do not think Abner was moved to the Hoosick Cemetery.Let me know if I am wrong.
Regards,
Tom Ryan
My mother side is the Perry family. Her great Grandmother was Minerva Crandall Abner's Grand child. She was married to Ralph Perry.

Weird or what?
Recently I had the privilege of photographing the St. Francis cemetery in Buffalo, Mn and am now in the process of adding these pics to the data on Find A Grave.
I cannot thank you enough for the wonderful job you have done when entering data about a person. As an amateur genealogist I truly appreciate all the work that you have put into this.
So now you know the meaning of my last subject message :)

Deanna
Cook and Hull families of Virginia
I am interested in Henry and Paul Cook of Augusta/Rockingham counties in Virginia. Henry has been listed on some websites as the father of Jacob Cook who lived in Sullivan county, Tennessee. Jacob's birthdate has been given as 1784/1785. He also has been listed as marrying Barbara Hull, daughter of Francis Hull, in 1795, but Jacob would have been 10 years old. I was wondering if you had any new information on the Cook and Hull families.
