 | RE: Eleanor Ann (Mallory) Harvey It's my pleasure! I'm going through all those old undertaker records (already scanned online) and although my main interest is the cemetery down the street from me, I cannot pass by a record that I might be able to attach to a memorial - so I take a few seconds to look 'em all up if I can deduce where they were buried.
It's fun for me - and I'm so glad I was able to solve that mystery for you!Added by Merf on Apr 02, 2013 7:53 PM | |

Kurt Hess
 | Flack and Campbell Hey Jim,
If you find any more of the Flack clan around this area let me know. I can probably be your hands on this coast.
I do have a lot of family out your direction in Bedford (now Fulton) county. I'm trying to locate and link them in the little cemeteries out in the farmland. Daniels, Sizer, Burse, Clevenger, and Hartman are a few of my interests.
I haven't noticed a Flack in my tree yet, but I'll keep an eye out.

 | RE: Claude McAlee Jim, I requested a headstone photo and the requester sent me the info on Claude. His brother Royal buried in Reno does not have a headstone, so maybe Claude doesn't have one. The Divide cemetery does say there are many unmarked graves. Your info seems to be correct.

 | Thomas and Howard Merryman Hi Jim, have made the amendments to the Merryman memorial pages. I looked up the following in one of my books. The Clarion Democrat, February 9, 1928 "Merryman, Maude. Mrs. Maude Merryman, wife of John Merryman, a most highly esteemed lady of Licking township, passed away at her home Sunday, January 29, 1928, having sustained a stroke of apoplexy just before death. She was aged 40 years, 5 months and 13 days. She was born August 16, 1887, and was united in marriage with John Merryman who survives her with seven sons, the oldest being aged 13 years. The funeral was held at Mt. Zion M.E. Church, February 1st, the Rev. W.B. Allison of Callensburg conducting the services. The interment was made in the church cemetery." I am guessing you will find her in that cemetery, and would venture to guess that perhaps her husband is also buried there. I don't know when I will be back up that way, as I now live in Gettysburg. Perhaps in October if you haven't already found them by then.Added by Linda Jemmett on Sep 26, 2012 10:51 AM | |
