Hi Dana. I didn't link Elizabeth to Henry, so I can't correct it. Polly

Sorry for the slip of the fingers, that would be William Henry Cunninggim, which appears to have changed to Cunningham with the family of Rev WH C.

|Karen Mickel Bennett||Britt At Montlawn|
Hi There -- Very thoughtful of you to send the email mentioning I took the photo of the Britt memorial. Most people would not take the time to do this and I appreciate your being so kind. I have done a lot at Montlawn also and see your name many times when I am adding something and you have already done it. Glad we are getting some of Montlawn done! Lots to go though! Thanks for your good work! Have a Merry Christmas and a healthy New Year! I will keep an eye out for your names.

Thank you so much for the photo of Vara Sanders Britt. We appreciate you helping us with the photo because I am not physically able to go to the cemeteries to take the photos. It means a lot to our family. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! God Bless.

Sorry for hitting return prematurely and leaving that blank message. I notify Phil Bible of the error and asked him to link a lot of the Messers.
I am not related in anyway and am truly sorry for my error. I made a tree on the family to tried to make sure I had things right this time.

You are correct. I was in error and will contact P. Bible as soon as I finish doing some research on the family. Sorry for the delay, I was under the weather and had not gone on my email for a couple of weeks.
Sorry for any inconvenience this caused you. Thank you for finding, and calling to my attention, my mistake.
Thank you for all you do on findagrave.

I located a copy of Eliza Baucom's "History of the Jesse Ford Taylor Plantation and Lotus Villa" documenting what is now Belvidere Park and found your FindAGrave marker for her grave. Thanks a bunch for posting this!
I am in the midst of formatting Eliza's book as a crisp, clean PDF and will be happy to share it with you once it's done.
Thanks for your work in documenting our area's amazingly rich history!

|Ivan Waddell||Clyde W. Bobbitt, Sr.|
Thanks for you information on correct cemetery location. I have changed Clyde's location to Woodland Baptist Cemetery in Granville County vs the one in Wake County. I also added his wife and son to the new cemetery per Cemetery Census information.

I placed a photo on your memorial of her grave. You might want to check it as it spells her name differently and the birth year is different. Hope this helps! So happy her memorial was done by you. Thanks!

|L Bonin||TH and Betty Liles|
When photographing the marker for Julia Liles, I found another set of markers, TH Liles Sr, Bettie Talton Liles and TH Liles Jr. 1826-1840. I have uploaded the photos for TH Sr and Bettie but there is no memorial page for TH Jr. Do you want me to create one and upload the photo or is this a family member you wish to manage the memorial for?
Added by L Bonin on Nov 15, 2013 3:19 PM
|L Bonin||Correction needed|
I discovered a name incorrect on one of your entries and have attached the photo of the marker for your reference. It is correctly linked to his wife which is the photo request I was fulfilling. I always try to document others in the plot whenever I can.
You have listed Lindsey Millard Cooper, it should be Lindsey Millard Phelps (wife was a Cooper prior to their marriage).

Thanks so much for the info on Ella Barbee. I updated the memorial with the corrections and posted the death cert as the source. I thought I might have made the mistake on the date of death and rechecked the survey and it was as I had posted it. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. Vicki

Hi, I contacted Lost Generation as per your request, asking them to add the information I found in his death certificate (i.e. correct name, full birth and death dates) and connect him to his family. Even though I made my Memorial earlier, i would be happy to delete it as soon as the other one is corrected since I am not a direct line of Craven's (he married into the Goodwin line). Thank you for bringing it to my attention. Debby

|James W. York Jr.||Grave sites in Oakwood Cemetery|
Mary Smedes Poyner York, my mother, is listed among the Yorks and the Poyners. There are links to the Poyners as follows. Mary Sherwood Smedes Poyner, her mother; James Marion Poyner (the elder), her father and husband of Mary Sherwood Smedes Poyner; James Marion Poyner (the younger), her brother; George Smedes Poyner, her brother.
A complete and accurate extension of these links can be found in the book THE ANCESTORS AND DESCENDANTS OF MARY SHERWOOD SMEDES POYNER by Martha Stoops. Her ancestors back through her father and grandfather and their wives also have their graves in Oakwood Cemetery, along with some of her grandfather's sons other than her father.
Information about me can be found in the Wikipedia under James W. York or, possibly, James W. York, Jr., the latter is correct; but , when my father died, I dropped the "Jr." I did not change my name, however. I have won two international prizes of which the more important, in 2003, is the Dannie Heineman Prize in Mathematical Physics, which can be found on the Internet.
Yours truly, "Jimmy" York.

When you can, could you get a long shot of the grave markers, so it will be easier for us to find them? Thank you, in advance, for all of your efforts, they are greatly appreciated. E.
