RE: Sacramento City Cemetery
Deborah, my suggestion is to bring up the Find A Grave search bar for Sac City Cemetery and type "A" and then enter. You will get a list of all those memorials that last name begins with A. Check the list for those that do not show a gravestone picture next to it. You may want to check any names without photos against the Sac City online records before you go. Two reasons: first some folks do not put plot info on the memorials and second to make sure there's a headstone. If you come to the cemetery this weekend, I'll be there volunteering and could help you. I'm there Saturday 10-3pm and Sunday 10-12:30pm. Be glad to assist you. Lin

RE: Find A Grave Memorial# 111071789
Hi Deborah, I'm not related to anyone in this cemetery. I just take pictures and add them to find a grave. But I try to get as much info on them as I can from all sources available. When all else fails, I go with the name on the government documents. I think they are the most legal. A WW1 document was filled out by the person themselves when they were young. In all the research I've done, marriage documents and census records can have any name given at the time and they usually do. And I feel most people don't want to lie to the government. Good luck with your research....Mickey

Marczynski Family

I was researching Thomas Marczynski's family tree today, and I noticed that you have a lot of memorials for his family on Find-A-Grave! Are you related to the Marczynskis? I don't know much about Thomas and Salomea, and I'd love to learn more!

Have a great weekend,

Hi Deborah, Thanks so much for the picture you took of William Biggers grave marker. I appreciate it. It's ok if it's not the whole marker. Sandy

Hi Deborah,

If the paper says she is interred there, I'm sure she is. The book only has a list of people that had headstones in 1991. I even checked the Old Town of Dunkirk Cemetery records that is now part of St Mary's, but could not find her.
Here are the Michaels I found up to 1971:
Nikolas Michaels 1868-1943, Margaret 1866-1952, Joseph 1906-1969 (WWII) and I think 3 children Mary 1971, Jullie 1968 and Gregory 1968, these 3 are in a section that has a children's section. There are a few more Michaels that the deaths are more recent that I didn't include here.
If you need any of the Michaels I have listed just let me know.

Hi Deborah,
You're very welcome and thanks for the kind words.
I go by Forest Hill at least twice a day. It's in my growing up neighborhood. I go by on my way to my mother's house to check on her a few times a day, she's 91 and still going strong.
I will get your latest requests as soon as I can.

Deborah...Thank you so much for the transfer and for your volunteer work. I would never have been able to find my relatives in various states if it were not for the volunteers who have created the memorials in cemeteries where I cannot go. I have linked Arthur to his parents and wife. This makes it so much easier for future searchers since most of our ancestors are in OK and TN. Jacque

Arthur Lindsay Smith #41787864
Deborah...Arthur is my relative and I would like to link him to other family members in Oklahoma, father Lindsay Wrise Smith #76788009 and write a bio. Would you consider transferring his memorial to me? Also, since you own the photos of the headstones may I have your permission to use them in my personal family tree for Arthur. Thank you for considering my request...Jacque

RE: Christina Huber
That's all there is, but I am in the process of adding photos of all of the markers in Maple Grove. We included the Huber family history as best as we can tell in the History of Ellsworth book that PCHA put out last year. I was the co-author, so know a bit about the family at least when they were in the Ellsworth area.

Hi Deborah,

You're most welcome, glad to help. I have a book for St Mary Cemetery, so anyone that has a headstone should be in there and I can usually find quickly. If there is anything else just let me know.

Sincerely, Ron Kinney.

Yes, info about this cemetery comes from a transcription of the cemetery record books. The date can still be wrong, but additional information I think is needed to know if so. Nathan

RE: Dansby Cemetery
Dear Deb, I appreciate your effort. I surveyed a similar sounding cemetery in RI several years ago... It was crazy with overgrowth and many of the stones (and markers) were laying flat under a layer of dirt and leaves. Makes it all a challenge! But, thank you so much for looking this week.
