It is not possible to save a photo from the site. I will just delete and you can post a request. I took this photo while traveling. Doubt if I will ever be back in that area.

I would if I could figure out how. The only option I see is to delete it.
I can't recall why I posted it on this memorial; perhaps there was no request for both of them at that time.
I don't save the photos after I post them. Perhaps you can try to save it to your computer and post it on the correct site. If not, perhaps you can get the Tech Asst at Find a Grave to help you.
Sorry about any problems I caused.
Let me know if you want me to delete it if you do not have access to do that.

I am trying to find more information about a childhood friend of mine and I noticed you had added a picture to his F.A.G page. I am actually trying to reconnect with his sister(s), Sharon Goin or Midge Goin. I had no idea Kenny had passed until finding this. Do you by any chance have any ideas that might help me finding them?

|EGF||RE: Esther Barker|
It just so happens that the guy who started Find A Grave is my uncle, so I enjoy special access to services not available to the public.
It's pretty easy, really. Since Ancestry bought Find A Grave, they've beefed up member services. My advice is not to bother contacting memorial owners and ask for dupe removals. You never know whether they'll be friendly or hostile, or just ignore your requests.
Write to email@example.com and give them the deceased's name and include the original memorial number and the newer, duplicate memorial number with a request for deletion. Keep it to those items only; do not try to "make your case" with long arguments. Under Find A Grave rules, the first memorial takes precedence.
Send your Greenwood dupes to firstname.lastname@example.org. In my experience they're quick to respond.
Hope this helps.

Oops. Looks like I've managed to add more confusion. I have now moved Esther to the correct cemetery (Greenwood) and deleted the memorial I erroneously created for her husband, John Alexander Barker, who is also buried in Greenwood and for whom there is an existing Find A Grave memorial page. Hope this fixes everything!

Thank you for helping to clear up the confusion regarding the Barker graves at Lewis and Clark Cemetery. I've created a new Find A Grave memorial for the "correct" John A. Barker and added a link to his wife, Esther Barker. I've also sent a request to Find A Grave for the removal of the duplicate memorial for the "other" John Barker. Thanks again!

|Finnophile||RE: Tensfer request|
Thanks so much for the transfer. I now have Kalle's memorial as well (see #97161472). So very interesting to me that whoever provided that info for Jaakko knew the date of his immigration, his brother's surnames/farmnames (both of which are correct, but did not provided a date of death.
Also written in the memorial is "no stone". I don't know if you've ever visited that cemetery, but do you think that means there is no marker at all? As in some people were buried without a marker but their burials recorded in a published work just like the one you're working on? Somehow sad to me. Anyway, the two brothers were 5th cousins (3x removed) of mine).
Thanks again, especially for your fast reply!

Would you please transfer #161479264 to me? Jaakko and his brother Kalle (#97161472) are in my family tree. Did you write the bio? If so, I'm very interested in how you knew this info? Are you related in any way?

Thank you so much for posting a photo of Frank's monument. He was a second cousin of mine.

|Jeff247||RE: photo of Betsey Mattison|
You're welcome. There are very few stones left standing in the Old Ovid St Cemetery. It's overgrown with trees down and no town maintenance. It's amazing how good Betsey's stone looks after 206 years!

|Judy Bearman||RE: Victor Aulin gravestone photo|
Thanks for letting me know about the error. I'm photographing the entire cemetery and when I entered the photo on Find A Grave I guess I didn't check the date close enough. I've taken down the wrong picture and put up the right one. Thanks again.

Thank you for catching that. I deleted the photo; I noticed I did the same thing with Bernhard, so I removed his wrong one too. I noticed you already posted a close up photo on each one, so no need to post mine.

You have posted Esther's bio on this site. I'm trying to connect her in some way to a Carol Hurd. Carol lived with Esther and her husband, Frank during the 1940 census at North Falls City, Polk Co, OR and is listed as "ward". Carol's age at the time was 16 years. Esther's Find A Grave #42636223. Thanks much.

Founds some headstone pics you've posted for relations and was wondering if you would mind if I posted them to my online tree, crediting you of course. Thanks for considering it and for your contribution to F.A.G.!

Hi Bev - You are certainly welcome. I'm glad I could help. The cell service was shotty out there and the GPS coordinates were off about 40 feet. I just sent an edit to correct. Hope all is well - Jim
