Memorial 47771579
Hi,

I've been trying to get my gg grandmother's profile fixed for a few weeks- I sent in a request back in May and nothing happened. So I canceled it and re-entered the corrections a week ago. Are you the person who does the updating?

Thanks,

Dana Pereau

Stillwater Union Cemetery

Hi,

You created the findagrave memorial #112718735 of my great-grandmother (Maude Harden). I've been trying to track down the cemetery information (you listed Plot: Lawn Avenue, lot 464, graves 1 & 2). Do you have a contact for the cemetery, or have notes on where you got that information from?

Thanks,
-David

Floyd Dnwiddie Rader Cemetery
The Floyd Dinwiddie you are trying to find information on is my great uncle. He is NOT the one in Rader cemetery as far as Johns son goes. Floyd Dinwiddie lived a long life and is buried in Texas by his wife Thelma. I have a couple of pictures but not many if you would like to know more you can message me and ill answer the best I can :) Jessica

Hello: I have added the Gabbert & Callahan names from the post by Sharlene Miller at the Buchanan County MOGenWeb Project to findagrave. Would it be possible for you to post the pictures you provided to the memorials for Gabbert & Callahan? Thank you for your help.

Ooops
Sorry, just found #23605509 Solomon Allen's connection to the Hay family that I asked about. His wife was Mary Hay Allen and her name is on the large Hay stone in that plot. (I found her obit and added it.) He probably didn't get his name inscribed on the Hay stone because he was an in-law, and if he had a separate stone, it is long gone. I am sure you knew who his wife was, but I am now for sure what the connection is. :)

Solomon Allen
Hi. You have a long-outstanding photo request for him, buried in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Springfield, IL. I found his plot but his grave is unmarked. He is buried in the same plot as the Hay (Nathaniel, John, Jemima, etc) ) family. Do you know of any connection? I posted an overall plot photo for you. Sorry there wasn't a better outcome but so many of the old stones are gone. There is one or two fragments of buried flat stones there but nothing that can be identified to anyone.

RE: Spotswood Palmer
It is spelled "Spotwood" on his son, Jeff, Missouri death cert.
Spelled "Spottsworth" on a family tree for Jeff Palmer on FamilySearch.org. I was researching Victoria Teson, wife of Jeff, until I realized that she was not my relative.

RE: David Rundle
I just received the information that D. F. Rundle does not have a marker at Oakwood. This is a weird situation! Do you think your memorial should be transferred to Oakwood Cemetery, where he's actually buried? The only monument for him is at Stillwater Union. Let me know your thoughts on this. I purchased an old photo album that has two cabinet photos of him which I'd like to post - both taken at Fort Worth, TX. Best Regards, JDKille.

Hi --

No, I'm not family. I'm researching a friend's family.

At this point I don't know where William Packer or Bertha Packer Huntington are buried.

Thanks for posting this memorial. Some of the best information I get is from FindAGrave !!

Alexander and Mary C (Wiltsie) Boyer
Ms Moore,
In researching my family through Ancestry.com, I was able to find my cousins, whom you have listed as: "Alexander Boyer" (memorial #112737975) and "Mary C Wiltsie Boyer" (memorial #112738011). Although I very much appreciate the efforts you have taken to document their graves, please know that they both already have a Find-A-Grave memorial that was established on 29 Nov 2012 by "Alice" (#47160081) with the correct surname of DYER: Alexander B Dyer, memorial #101429794 and his wife, Mary C Wiltsie Dyer, memorial #101429815. After looking at your photo of their headstone/marker, I can see how easily the surname would have been mistaken. Again, I sincerely thank you for your continued efforts in documenting the burial sites of our loved ones and appreciate your correction for the "Dyer" branch of my family :)

RE: Floyd Dinwiddie Rader Cemetery
I use to have a Cemetery Book that was given to me from a old family friend who was a Dinwiddie since my father's cousin also was married to the Anderson Dinwiddie and our family fiend Thresa was the wife of Glen Dinwiddie I did some posting yeas ago when find a grave was hardly heard of. I'm sorry but I can't find the book and I hope you can find the information your looking for but if you done enough research you find that some of the dates can be off a few years I seen this many times and it throws me every time. I have not done much in years I only recently got a new computer and was looking at my sites thinking I need to get back to work on a lot of this stuff, but I just don't have the time. Stanley Duett

Herbert B. Brown
Hello,

I inadvertantly entered an Find A Grave memorial for Herbert B. Brown who is interred in Stillwater Union Cemetery. The Find A Grave # given to me is 124571215.

Herbert was the grandfather of my uncle's wife.

I would like to be the steward of his memorial and, also, of his wife's, Elmira (Britten) Brown.

Could you be so kind as to transfer their memorials to my keeping? Also, may I use your photo of their stone?

I'm fairly new at this and I hope I'm going about this correctly.

Sincerely,

Luddy
