Lois, I'm sorry its taken me so long to respond. Alice and Charles Kern were my grandparents, and they did have a son charles, however, he passed away in 1993. I wish I could of more help in your search. I too am getting more into geneology. I'd like to learn more about my ancestry, especially on my father's side. All of my aunts and uncles have passed, as well as both of my parents. If you have anymore questions, please feel free to contact me by e-mail. Stephenkern6@gmail.com. Sorry this is so late in replying. I found the picture of Dean Hill among my father's effects. At first I thought it was a picture of Robert Rubel until it was identified as Dean by Robert's brother, John Rubel.

|Jessica Coleman||RE: Gerald Way|
You are very welcome. I actually came upon his headstone on accident as I was walking through the cemetery today. But God must have been on my side because just before I left my house, your photo request was on my mind.
What I was thinking when I was photographing the headstone was that I did not see Lucy Bird Way anywhere near him (although she does share a stone with Albert C Bird). I'm assuming that Gerald was married to Lucy when he died but she remarried after and when she died, she decided to have a double headstone with her current husband instead of being buried next to Gerald.
I'm not sure of anything, I'm just speculating.

|Delaine Shirley-Noyer||Storts in Paris, AR|
I am fairly new to f-a-g and I know I have a photo or two of my Shirley ancestors with some of your Storts family members. Just thought I'd drop you a line and say hi. I think I have 1-2 photos and I'm totally willing to share. I have not figured out the scrapbook feature yet, but I'll get there! The photos came from my grandpa, Owen Parmer Shirley of Paris, and his Dad was Silas Shirley (buried in Paint Rock Cemetery). Still busy connecting the dots; Silas was married 3 times with 13 kids so I'm trying to link them all up! Let me know if you want me to e-mail you the two photos I have of the Storts... Delaine

|J.T. Cummings||photo requests|
I'm happy that you enjoy the pictures, and will try to fill some additional requests when I get the time later this summer. My grandmother took the photos of Enoch and Mattie Bowman in the fall of 1953. I remember going to church with Enoch Bowman when I was a little boy. His wife Mattie was my great-grandmother's sister.
