Hi Patty,
Thank you for posting my Great Uncle's grave. I updated you on his birth and death dates as well as his Mother and Father. I did however make an error when I make the correction. His birthday is March 14, 1905 (not 1906 which I had told you). Thank you,
Beverly Busselle Plack

Hello, and thanks so much for the work. I know I take care of a couple here in Midland, MI. What I was wondering is if the next time you are at Chapel Hill Cemetery, if you could get a picture of Joan Klele's stone. It is right next to George Klele's stone #146879952. I would really appreciate it. Thank you, Cheryl Speaker

Hi Patty,
Thank you very much for the transfer. My husband's Brown family were from IN. His great-grandparents, William & Charity Brown, moved from there to the state of WA and settled in Lewis County. Let me know if you connect. Thanks once again for the transfer. You have made my day!

Thank you so much for all the work you do in assisting others with their genealogical research. It so often helps those still living to gain a sense of identity by knowing their past.

Yes. It does bring peace. I am only able to visit his grave once or twice a year. I do not live in Orlando anymore. I was looking for information on my grandparents and came across find a grave. Then found you had graciously added Raymond here. Thank you again.

RE: Pliny Martin
Hello Patty,
The photos arrived today and thank you so much for sending them. I will treasure them as I have been doing genealogy for over 50 yrs. I can identify all of them from the writing on the back. 1. "Katherine died Feb 6, 1913, from her father, aged 88 yrs., daughter of Pliny F. Martin" is written on the back and this is my maternal grandmother Katherine (Martin) Gerin 1879-1913. I only have some photos of her when she was very young. I am assuming this was taken around 1910, only 3 yrs. before she died. My mother was a twin born 1909. 2. "Mrs. P.F. Martin and Katie S. or L. Martin" This again is my maternal grandmother and her mother Delia Maria (Fitch) Martin 1838-1904. Delia was Pliny's 2nd wife, also his niece as Pliny's mother Almira (Fitch) Martin 1798-1875 and Delia's father James Harvey Fitch 1814-1902 were brother & sister. 3. "P.F. Martin and Master James Martin" this is my maternal great grandfather Pliny Freeman (not Fitch--documented) Martin 1822-1913 and his son James Fitch Martin 1879-1937 by his 2nd marriage to Delia. He would be my great uncle raised my mother as she & her sister were orphaned in 1913. I have his desk and a large reproduced picture of him hanging over it in my family room her in Seattle, WA. My mother was very close to her Uncle James and named her 1st son after him - James Frederick Wittman 1931-living. He is the oldest of the 9 of us. I am #7 born 1942. 4. "Kitty and Brother, Pliny Martin's children". I don't recognize this writing. They are 2 of his 3 children by his 1st marriage to Sarah Ann (Baker) Martin 1822-1872: Kittie Lambert Martin 1850-1867 and Pliny Freeman Martin, JR. 1852-1861. They both died young. That photo has somewhat faded but I have a friend in NY who does restoration and will be able to bring it back, so to speak. I am amazed what good condition they are all in. You have cared for them well. Thank you once again so very much. I really appreciate them. We must put our heads together and figure out how & why your Mother-In-Law had these photos. The MARTINs were in upstate New York, but Pliny did winter in Florida and South Carolina in later yrs. of his life. They went to an area where Disneyworld now stands. I note you are in Orlando. Let me do some digging in my paperwork and I have papers of property Uncle James bought, but never did anything with it. Rumor has it when Disney traced the ownership, my mother & her sister were advised that they wanted the property to build on. Neither my mother or her only living sister (not her twin-she died at age 2) had the money to hire a Lawyer and follow thru on it. I do know tho that Pliny did winter for several yrs. in Florida. Can you email me directly at Ljevenson@aol.com as I want to try & figure out any possible relationship. I have a feeling it may be ?? on your side rather than the Munstion/Foster side. Obviously if not related, the Martins must have been good friends with someone that they would send studio family pictures. For now, Judith
