FOR YOUR INFORMATION.....You have the date of death as 6 Sept 2013 for Mrs. Wofford in Pleasant Hill Cenmentery??? However you created this record on 12 June 2013. Doing some checking in the "1976 Bicentennial History of Gordon County Georgia" , it show that Mrs. A. T. Wofford died in 1939. I am sure that your record may have just been a typo. Thought yo might like to know.

Thank you for adding the info on Emaline at La Fayette Cemetery. I have been able to find all her siblings with the exception of 2-sisters. It has been a long journey locating family members and I appreciate your adding the information to her memorial. Records indicate that Walker County Farm was also known as the Indigent or Poor Home as well as the County Asylum. Either way, it was the only place the county could house those who were financially unable to care for themselves. I believe most counties had one. The phone number for the funeral home is 706-857-2481. If you call them, they will verify that she was buried this morning in the Howell Cemetery. A memorial was created for her in 2010 as she had a pre-need gravestone in the Howell Cemetery for a while. The memorial is #61060497. You can see a picture of her gravestone in it and a copy of her obituary is posted. I don't know where you got the information that she was buried in West Hill, but it is inaccurate.

Well I attended the funeral and burial service this morning for one thing. But if you'll send me your email address, I'll be glad to send you additional information.
I have been working with the Mayor in our small town for a couple of years trying to get the cemetery information up-to-date and accurate as they lost a lost of their old paper records in a flood many years ago. I have, in particular, been trying to keep West Hill Cemetery accurate. We have a pattern that we are trying to consistently follow for burials there.
